The night of 4/20/17 I brought my 11 year old in either with a severe headache or a migraine. We sat a little over two hours. We were called back, asked what was wrong, then we were told we had quite a wait to wait to be seen. The lady that calls patients names was taking a step out her door yelling, staring at us every time. Then she realized nobody could hear her from the waiting area, so then every time she yelled, looked at us, walked to the waiting, called the name nicely. Would of been nice for her to walk to the waiting room the whole time. Instead of yelling in front of a crying child because her head hurts and hurts worse everytime you yell in front of her! I left my daughter for three minutes to use the restroom, when I came back this lady was sitting right next to my daughter, ladies eyes looked like they were about to pop out of her head. The hospital was full of junkies, drug addicts. And they all were able to be seen before my child. So we left. Back in 2000 I was hit head on by two cars that were racing. This hospital left me taped to the emergency board from the ambulance for hours. I had released all bodily fluids because I had died and was reading Consciousness by the ambulance drivers. This hospital helped the people that caused the accident out first. The drivers admitted they were on drugs and were drink. This hospital didnt do any tests on them. But if I go into the hospital seriously hurt, your hospital looks at me like Im a druggie. I can pass all UAs because I am not. Your hospital keeps supplying the same druggies with pills and they all turn around and try to sell them to hurting people like me. Now this is sick. Thanks for supporting the addicts for so long and not helping those that really need the help. Your hospital sucks!

I took my husband to the ER as he was in severe pain a couple days after having a kidney stone procedure. he was vomiting from the pain it was so bad. We sat in the ER for 2.5 hours and never saw the doctor. The elderly nurse had no bed side manners. After an hour my husband begged to see the doctor for help and she said, Well you dont want us to rush and make a mistake do you?". I thought this was nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nests. She came across as not caring. I asked her if she could see my husbands recent surgery with their computers (Providence, Swedish and Everett clinic can all see your records from all places), and she was annoyed with my question and said, "No!" I called the Urologist and the nurse was so rude to him over the phone. My mother is a RN and has been most of my life, and I was so in shock in patient care here. After 2.5 hours of no relief for my husband I took him out of their ER (just walked out), and drove him to Swedish ER in Everett, and within 4 minutes in the ER they had him with an ultrasound on his kidneys.... He had more kidney stones and they gave him medicine to address the terrible pain he was in.... It was worth the 20 minute drive south, and I regret not making that drive first....My property taxes pay for the Arlington Hospital which has a lot of room for improvement.

Give a zerp if I could legtimately. FD only goes to a hole in Everett that should not practice on a lab rat. One small step above; but if any actual problem? You are SOL in Snohomish County; but recent perspective was added by Providence: and frankly I had no clue that it was this bad--I was upset mostly because of the fact that I was talked into a shot that I in truth should probably have accepted: but I dislike taking a lot of medications. I now wish if going by ambulance? I could go to Cascade Valley. PEMC? It is a rathole. I know no other way to describe it when you are in the state of health I am in, and yet you are basically kicked to the curb. Too complex to be living here but cannot afford anything else. At least here I was not treated rudely or patronized. I speak the truth, nothing more; canot roust concern with anyone. Bedbound? A huge infection no one will attempt to treat? It is not covered, that is why. Besides, if the ERs around the area are indicitave of how people are spoken to? No wonder folks come in with an attitude. I am heading that one off and saving the wasted time. But wow, the 2 experiences at Colby put it right into perspective. I wish that if they determined you stable you could at least decide if you go to a rathole that ought to be be closed and not rebuilt.

One star only because you have to pick at least one to leave a review. This has been and continues to be the worst hospital in the Pacific Northwest, and Ive lived in Arlington for 30 years. Usually I drive to harborview or Swedish to get professional fantastic care, but circumstances brought me back to caskade valley hospital for the first time in 5-6 years and I was almost instantly reminded of why I never go there. They are the most unprofessional group of people who will take turns forgetting about you or the task they needed to complete for your care, I was going septic after 8 hours when they released me telling me they had no answers for me, so I went home feeling extremely distraught and near death, they start calling me telling me I needed to come back in that they forgot they wanted to give me some medication. When I went back in they told me my nurse was gone so just go home wait for a call and come back if I feel worse!?!?! Worse than the 103 degree fever and septic joints you just released me with?!? AHHHHH! They are the worst! Absolute worst rude unprofessional people you should avoid with your health care!

I dont ever do this but it was enough to make me need to. On August 13th at 8am I rushed my mom to Cascade Valley Hospital. First the admitting lady Bobbie was so rude i asked for help because my mom cant breath is having pains in her heart and excessive dizziness she told me no one could help me get her but i was ok to borrow the wheel chair. She acted so disgusted that my mother who is from lake Chelan had never been at CVH and had to do extra paper work that she let out this loud sigh and grunt and stated god now we will have to do paper work. Then when one of the girls came to take her blood and gave my mother not one but two huge hematomas my mother had to ask to stop. We were also ignored for several hours even after we asked for water for her. I had to go get water from McDonalds, i dont know what was going on that day but it was inexcusable how they acted even the new nurse that came on was rude and treated my mom like crap. I work in the medical field and i deal with crap all the time but the lack of respect and consideration shown that day almost made me loose my cool.
