I never fully appreciated my old student health insurance until I came to Dr. Luzviminda. Her staff is rude over the phone and in person. They do not greet you when you are obviously standing right in front of them, and you have to ask for the paperwork you need to fill out. The wait is long and they book too many people for the same morning time slot. Once you see the doctor, shes in a hurry because theres too many people for her to go to, so she gives you little to no attention as her mind is elsewhere. As a diagnostician, she is terrible, not really asking for much information or background about the patient, and she doesnt take the time to explain her diagnosis, prescriptions, etc. Shes not fully versed in her medications as I explained to her a very common brand name of birth control I was taking and she had no idea what it was, instead she just prescribed me something entirely different, again with no explanation. I needed to stay for a womens health visit and instead of putting me in a different room to wait a little bit then and there she said to make another appointment or come back later at 3pm (it was 11am) because she has too many patients to see. It was my only day of the week to do this and I didnt want to pay for another appointment, so I had to leave and come back. When I returned for a womens health screening, she apparently needed an assistant who she did not introduce and was really unnecessary for the procedure. She didnt communicate what she was doing and when she was about to do something, which made the entire experience extremely uncomfortable. Unrelated to the doctor, I also had to get a few lab draws there, and her phlebotomist cannot find and draw from veins. One way I measure an experienced nurse is by how well they can find and draw from my veins, which I admit give nurses a hard time when I donate blood. She kept moving the needle around, taking it out a little bit and readjusting it, making up excuses all the while for her failed attempts. After my visit, I was told I had to call about my lab results, because of course her office is too lazy to follow up on patients. I called weeks later in the morning, and whoever was on the phone was extremely rude. Id start talking and theyd blurt out "LAST NAME, whats your last name." I answered and explained I wanted my test results, and all she said was "I have a lot of patients. Im too busy to get your chart. Call back 2-3pm. 2-3PM. Call back 2-3PM!" At that point I really wanted to yell at them over the phone, so I just hung up. What kind of office only has a 1 hour window for a patient to call? I suspect any morning Id get the same answer since they always overbook. All in all, worst experience Ive had at a doctors office. Maybe I expect a lot from my health care providers, but if you choose to be in this field you need to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and, funnily enough, patient. Undoubtedly, Dr. Montecillo is very smart, but she lacks in everything else youd expect from a good doctor and her staff is a reflection of that as well.

Was horrible experience ever. My dad does hear he has diabetes and going dialysis treatment. He goes for regular check up she never want answers questions or talk. When dad had file for disability he had file some form she declined and said its to much paper work I dont have time and I wont even get paid. So my mom than what can I do well I charge 30 dollars and get it so my said okay. 10 minutes later she sign it and she doesnt even try complete the form she said its stupid and its too much so she wrote line all the pages and wrote n/a and said here Im done. So my called me said she wont complete after she took my money so I told change your doctor you shouldnt go threw that.
