After moving back to Lake Forest from Los Angeles, my wife and I tried to continue with our previous dentist, but after a few years this became too much, and our checkups slowed to a stop. I knew that I needed help with two of my teeth, and I finally made the decision to look for a local dentist.Searching the web led me to choose Serene Dental Center over all the others, based on the approach that they describe on their website, and partly on the reviews of their practice on various ratings web sites.I have been very pleased with my choice and experiences with Drs. Ali and Shery. The work that I needed done was extensive, requiring one root canal and one implant. Both doctors took the time to explain what options we had and why they thought that their recommendations were the right ones. I had all of my questions answered, and I had a lot of them. (Sorry!) While Im mentioning the people at Serene, I have to express my praise for Jeri, the office administrator and receptionist, who you can count on to be remarkably friendly and professional.All of the work I have had done has been performed without delays, without pain, and the results have been uniformly outstanding. Most everything has been done in their office, including a just-completed sinus lift, with the exception of an endodontist they recommended for the root canal job. For the procedures that I have had done, the costs have been quite reasonable compared with those that Ive researched online.Based on all of this, I can highly recommend Serene Dental to anyone, and I look forward to being a client for many years.

My husband had an infected tooth and needed a root canal the week before Christmas, and I didnt even hesitate to call Jeri, because I knew she would make it happen. He was worked in that day, but once he walked in the door, you would never have known he was a work-in. Every staff member at Serene Dental displayed the highest level of professionalism, but more than that, they are just very nice people who really pride themselves on making their patients comfortable and welcome. Martha and Stephanie assisted with the procedure, and made my husband feel as if he had a regular appointment all along. On the first day, Dr. Ali cleared the infection and sealed the tooth so the rest could wait until after the first of the year, but when my husband said hed rather have everything done before Christmas, everyone at Serene Dental stayed late the last day before their holiday break to accommodate his request. And Fabby worked overtime to make his crown in house so that 48 hours after my first call to the office, my husband was back to 100%. Dr. Ali is so reassuring to all of his patients and gives each patient the same meticulous work no matter what time of day, and if youve been worked in or not. We have been patients of Serene Dental for several years and we have always loved Dr. Ali and the staff, but it took this experience to make us remember just how truly special and caring these people are. Thank you again Dr. Ali, Jeri, Martha, Stephanie and Fabby!

Serene Dental Center, how much do I love thee, let me count the ways. 1. My entire family is cared for by the entire staff at SDC. My kids have been patients since they were each born. Ive been a patient since they opened this office. 2. The Drs. Mansouri are kind, warm, sincere, knowledgeable, concerned about their patients well-being, and most of all, EXCELLENT DENTISTS. 3. The assistants, hygienists, and Jeri are WONDERFUL and never fail to have smiles on their faces when we are there. 4. They go out of their way to work with your schedule. 5. I have recommended SDC to several friends and colleagues and have had excellent feedback on the referral. 6. I have had my fair share of dental work and the skill and kindness of Dr. Ali and Dr. Shery have, time and again, made the experiences, dare I say it? Almost enjoyable. 7. Hate pain? I do, but its never a worry with Drs. Ali and Shery as they always go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable. 8. They are excellent with children and my kids look forward to seeing them. 9. When I had a dental emergency off hours, Dr. Ali called me and got me the first appointment the next morning. 10. They call you in the evening to make sure you are recovering well after particularly invasive procedures. 11. They are Patient beyond measure. 12. The billing practices are up front, accurate, and always fair. You will be very happy if you visit Serene Dental Center.

The best thing I like about Serene Dental is their super professional Dentists (Dr Ali and Dr Shery) and their super friendly staff. I also like that they have the state-of-the-art equipment, and the office is very clean and comfortable. From the moment you walk into the office, you can already tell they treat every customer as their VIP. Their waiting room is stocked with free cold drinks and tons of magazine, so the wait would past by like a blink. Not that they make you wait for a long time anyways because I have never wait for more than 10 minutes. Dr Ali & Dr Shery are both wonderful Dentists. They take the time to talk to you about what theyre about to do, and what (if any) "weird" sound you may hear so you dont get alarmed. They also have a TV and a massage chair in each exam room so you can feel so relax that you may think youre at a spa instead of a dentist. Their Dental Hygientist (I guess thats what theyre called) are also super friendly and do a really wonderful job. I cant comment on their price because I got covered by my insurance for all services; however I can say that they will not ask you to do services that you dont need just so they can claim more money. They told me that one of my teeth may need some work later, but they will monitor it for now and only do it when its needed. In this economic time when most dentist are trying to "encourage" you to do more work, this says a lot about their ethics.

I started going to Dr. Ali about 3 years ago after not seeing a dentist since 2006. I was very nervous as most of us are about dentist. I knew I was going to be told that I had to have a wisdom tooth out. But as soon as I walked into the office I was relieved because from the get go the office is very welcoming and comfortable. The front office staff is very friendly and greeted me with my name even though it was my first time there. Once I was see by the nurse which was very sweet and explained everything that was going to be done and placed on me. When I finally got to meet Dr. Ali the rest of the staff had already made me feel so exceptionally comfortable and Dr. Ali only made it easier to continue to feel that way, he was very friendly, funny and cared to know what I was feeling. He made my experience with my wisdom tooth being pulled very easy and pleasant aside from the normal recovery stage of course which he has no control over. Every time I have been in the office I leave very happy and satisfied. Now I have an appointment tomorrow which Im looking forward to because I have not been in the office in a while because I was pregnant. But I definitely recommend Dr. Ali and Dr. Sherys dentist office. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! -Elizabeth Aguilar
