Mis 4 hijos an pesado de 7.5 libras a 8 libras.

ER Visit on Sept. 28 2016 9pm Waited about 45 min to be seen at the ER. First Filipino male Nurse taking my info was in rush did not properly write down my symptoms. I was at the ER for a brain scan for my continuous head pain. They took me upstairs to wait on a hospital bed. It was very clean and quiet. Young female blonde Caucasian Nurse came in, followed by the female doctor named Tammy Truong. Doctor told me Im going to get a CT scan of my brain. None of them introduced themselves only asked me what was going on and asked about my medical history and allergies. I would understand if they were busy and in a rush. The entire ER was quiet and was not busy had about 5 patients in the entire floor. Both left. Blonde nurse came back 5 min later brought a water bag and inserted an iV on my arm. She did not confirm my name, she did not review medications she was about to give me and she did not tell me the reason why an iV is being inserted into my arm. As she began to insert medication through the iV she only stated the names of the meds. Did not state the purpose nor the dosage. I told her I was feeling dizzy, told me it would be gone in a min. She left me unaccompanied to chat with the doctor (can hear it 10 ft away) returned 5 min later and asked if I was still dizzy. I told her to remove the iV as it was making me really dizzy (Ive taken and had no problem with Benadryl in the past given by nurses.) I asked her what the purpose of the iV and meds were for as I was only here for a brain scan. She said it was the doctors orders and it was to help with my headache. She did not mention that the iV was inserted for contrast when taking a CT scan. ( purpose of contrast is to be able to see more clearly through the ct scan.) she later removed the iV after responding with a rude tone. Everything went well after the scan. Waited about half an hour to get results. The same nurse came back and said CT scan looked good. Said the doctor diagnosed it as a migraine. Doctor did not confirm with me after the scan to tell me whats going on. Nurse did not talk about the results just said it "looked good". This blonde Caucasian female registered nurse (forgot her name, something like Beth) led by doctor Tammy Truong above the ER Did not follow proper procedures. I would understand if the floor was busy and had other patients in need of greater care. The floor was quiet and I could hear the staff chatting 10 ft away. The nurses name was not included in the discharge documents for some reason. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the 2nd and 3rd floor of ER. It Was very quiet and had many empty beds.

Good Samaritan Hospital has the worst customer service and nursing care I have ever encuntered before in my life. The nurses in the ER are very hostile as well a management. My daughter was placed in the bloody gurney and when brought to the attention of management I felt as though they did not care and when I informed that Nurse Louse was unprofessional, dirty, and attempting to flushe a central line with air in it that I did not know what I was seening. And, the so called Charge Nurse Kelly is just as unprofessional as the rest of the staff in the ER. Check out my facebook page a look at the pictures that I took of the bloody gurney and the IV Tubing that Louse was going to push Dilaudid 2mg=1ml into my child. I was told by the Charge Nurse that I dont know what she was going to do yet I ask her prior to her doing it. Charge Nurse stated that she was going to pull out the air yet the bag was dry and to tubing had air and she only had the one syringe in her hand which was to 3ml syringe with the Dilaudid in it. No other syringe was in her hand at that time and I had to stop her from administering the medication into a dry line. SMART right. Well, needless to say I will never go back to that hospital every again in this life unless I am dead and a ambulance takes my dead body there. This is a follow up on my daughter LaKeysha that entered into the ER one night in severe Sickle-Cell-Crisis, whom was treated very poorly and placed in a NASTY BLOODY GURNEY, and received piss poor" nursing" care. To "nurse" Kelly I hope your no longer a "Charge Nurse" as youre a very dishonest person and a absolute ill repute, infamy, vilification and dishonor to all nurses and to what I was taught that a nurse should be. And, to" nurse" Lourdes you need to go back to nursing school and learn the basics of IV push, and If you dont no or are just not sure, go ask someone, "Do no harm". Thank God up above for Huntington Hospital, after my daughter left there I took her to the best hospital in most of Los Angeles area where she was on a Ketamine gtt (drip) and in the ICU for three day. My child was in the worst Crisis that I have ever seen her in, in all her life. She had to undergo an additional two surgerys and is doing very well today. She is off of most of her pain medications thanks to the WONDERFUL DOCTORS AND NURSES AND HUNTINGTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. To good Sam. your nurses and ER Medical staff need to step up there game. Never to return, ever again in this life unless IM DEAD. Charlene A. Curry RN, The mother of La Keysha.
