This review pertains to the person answering the phone at Dr. Mallorcas office. Called this office today seeking a pediatrician. The first time I called I got a voicemail message stating the mailbox was not set up to receive voicemail messages. Called back later and was placed on hold for five minutes and then the call was disconnected instead of answered. Called back and when the receptionist answered, I was asked to be placed on hold again. I explained I had already been placed on hold for five minutes and then hung up on to which she rudely responded, "I have two phones with four lines on each to answer and registrations." Some apology! At this point I should have hung up as obviously there is a lack of professionalism and staffing issues, however, I explained that I was interested in establishing a pediatrician if they were accepting new patients. She very curtly asked, "Whats the insurance?" I asked her to repeat herself to be sure I heard right as I was expecting a simple yes or no. Again she very rudely asked "What is the insurance?" So I repeated, "I asked if youre accepting new patients." Same response, "What is the insurance?" That was it for me. Repeatedly answering a potential new patients question with a question is an indicator of poor customer service, as well as informing me of the amount of phones and lines that this person needs to answer has nothing to do with me or the quality of customer service I should receive. Ill be seeking a pediatrician elsewhere solely based on the rudeness of this person who answered the phone today, which is too bad because the pediatrician has good reviews.

She is a really good Doctor, and I love the way she treats kids, but her staff is seriously the worse I have ever deal with. They do not how to be polite and are very rude, they do not listen to what you have to say only make you listen to what they have to say. I would hate to change her for another Doctor but she needs to do something her staff, and the worse one shes been there even before I started to go there which is more than 6 years already.

My kids have been going to Dr. Mallorca since we moved to Manteca in 2006. She came to the hospital while on her on vacation when I had my son, that spoke volumes, and no, it wasnt for the money, it was for the genuine love of her patients. She recognizes us on the streets and knows us by name, and brings up past stories, its not chart numbers or questionable I think I know who you are type situations. I highly recommend Dr. Mallorca!

She has been my sons dctor since birth. Hes 23 months now, I absolutely love her!! She is great with him, takes the time too explain whats wrong and what needs to be done to Fix it. Recommended pediatrician

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Mallorca!! Shes amazing, great with children, and genuinely cares for her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a pediatrician for their child. You wont regret it!
