I do not know where to begin. IF I COULD GIVE A RATING OF MINUS 500 stars, I WOULD. I began to go to Roseville Dental Center a little less than 2 years ago for routine maintenance. I did not have any problems with the basics. At that time, I read the reviews and they were positive. Fast forward to April 2016. I had pain with one particular tooth and i went back to see Dr. Vong. I failed to read the current reviews (see Yelp, it tells the Truth) Let me tell you that I chose Roseville Dental Center for the convenient location because i live around the block. He said I need a Root Canal and a Crown and i figured, "he is the Dentist and he obviously knows best" I followed "like a sheep" but i didnt know that figuratively "i was being "LED TO BE SLAUGHTERED" I was in his Dentist Chair for over 4 hours and the pain was so devastaing that i was crying. Im a big guy and a former College Football player. He had to inject me with Anesthesia 4 more times. He had 3 different Dental Hygenist come in during this procedure. that is really frustrating because he had to stop each time to explain what they were doing. Two of them acted liked it was their "first day on the job" As he was shaving down my tooth to seat the Crown, i felt others parts of my mouth being compromised. i left the office that day in unbearable pain. With my previous Dental Visits, I have NEVER had this much pain. I left with my Temporary Crown. Over the next 3 weeks, the pain Did Not subside. the pain intensified and i couldnt understand why? The Dentist should know what he is doing right? WRONG!!! HE SHAVED INTO PART OF MY JAWBONE!!! When i went back to see him for the Seating of the permanent Crown, It broke. Before he seat the permanant Crown, he injected ansthesia into my Jawbone and it made me cry again. When that Permanent Crown broke again, i noticed a little "smirk" on Dr. Vong face. i knew that he was unhappy with me because i called him to complain about my pain. They are closed on Monday and they have an answering service that is full of idiots! GET THIS, he left the computer screen on the ceiling so when i was in the dentist chair, i had full view of the notes detailing how bad of a customer I am. that was the Final time that i saw him. i filed a Grievance with my insurance company. My initial Visit was April 26 and to this day I am still wearing a "Temporary" crown. i have lost 7 pounds because Im in excruciating pain when I eat. My insurance company instucted me to get a second opinion. This other Reputable Dentist said its the worst they have ever seen. He recommended me to an Oral Surgeon to deal with the Damage that Dr. Vong inflicted upon me. i dont write reviews but I want to warn the public about the horrible Dr. Vong.

I definitely give Dr. Vong office 5 stars! And heres why. . . The office inside was clean, welcoming well organized and the entire staff was so kind and friendly. I havent seen a dentist in years ! So you could only imagine how my teeth and gums looked. Horrible !!! Dr. Vong really took the time to go thru all my new patient forms. Asked me several questions to personally get to know me. To me that showed that he had compassion for his patients regardless to how their case may look. He took the time to ask me what I wanted while visiting his office. He reviewed all my xrays with me showing them on the screen in the private room he offers which I like ! No one else could hear about your case and my situation was a bad one. He broke every angle to me and explain what my best options were. He gave me his honest opinion. He was very detailed with each tooth that needed worked on. I walked in to his office with an abscess tooth. And from me neglecting the tooth for so long there was no way of saving the tooth. After his consultantion with me which was about 45 mins or so he then had me sit and discuss payment options with Tina. Shes a happy energetic front desk assistant. Who made that financial experience comfortable. I notice while I was there patients would come in with smiles on their faces happy to be walking in to Dr. Vong office. Tina broke it down to me (payment plan) Dr. Vong offers a lay out of his consultation. Which shows a diagram of your teeth and a very detailed description of work that needs to be done with cost of what my insurance will pay and my out of pocket expense. And if your like me seeing it in black and white broken down makes it so much easier and less stressful. I was back in his office first thing the next morning. I had a tooth extraction done. The procedure I had done was a diffcult task in my opinion. Dr. Vong did a fantastic job. He was very gentle patient and kind he took his time making sure I was comfortable. He office visit for me was an excellent experience. Hes definitely affordable! Im looking forward to getting my dental work done by him. I highly recommend Dr. Vong. His office provides the upmost respectful environment when receiving dental care. Im so grateful and thankful to Roseville Dental Center.

I am new to the area and was dentist-shopping to remove a wisdom tooth and I was referred to Dr. Vong by a friend. At first, I was a little hesitant because the office was newly established and Ive had dentists who were neither nice nor competent before. But my friend told me that he was very satisfied with Dr. Vs care when he had the same procedure done. I dont have dental insurance and was going to save a hundred bucks as a new patient so I decided to give this a try. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit. I dont usually write reviews, but I felt that I was so well taken care of that I have decided to write this blurb to let people know about the new practice as a way to thank them for a good experience at the dentist--if there ever can be one. On to my experience: The staff was courteous and attentive while the dentist was knowledgeable, caring, and, most importantly for a dentist, with extremely capable and gentle hands. This was definitely a very different experience from from my visits to other dental offices where I felt the dentist either 1) spend just about 10 seconds with me before moving me on to the chair so they can see the next patient or 2) leave me waiting for a long long while before I was seen. I felt that I was very well cared for by both Dr. Vong and his staff both pre- and post-chair. More importantly, the extraction was fast and I did not feel any pain. I have had wisdom teeth pulled before and I believe that this is the quickest recovery I have had. In all, I think that what theyre doing here is a good sign and I hope that they keep to their philosophy and maintain the current high level of care for their patients when business picks up as it surely will!
