My son has been extreme pain all night cryibg non stop because his tooth since it was a Saturday his office wasnt open and the only place that was open was this place . He used to be seen there but he had been assigned to another dental office and was going to a different place but due to his pain and his office being closed on Saturday . I called and made an appointment with the western dental on elkhorn and when I did call I explained everything to them and told them I understood he wasnt assigned there but he needed to be seen and will pay for whatever was possible I basically would of been a cash patien . I came to his appointment and checked him in the lady then told me that even though im paying cash they cant see him because he wasnt assigned there . I argued with her explaining that there the only place open and I dont want them using my insurance just let me pay for his visit and any treatment needed . she tried telling Me it would be fraud if they seen him and took my cash and said to go to emergency room . By then Im upset to where Im crying because my son has been in so much pain and I know er cant really do nothing but give him meds witch I already had . I ended up taking him to urgent care and explained what they told me they said that was illegal and they can not deny care Even though he wasnt assigned there and I was offering to pay whatever. They told me to file a grivence because what they did was wrong and should have seen him . Not to mention when I went into western dental there was only one person waiting in waiting room . They illegally denied my son and sent him away for no reason . I will be fileing a grievance and be contacting the dental board. Now I would of understand if I wasnt offering to pay but I had cash and credit card ready and they still denied him. This place is wrong and what they did was horrible.

If I can rate this place a 0 I would love to.. Let me start by saying this, the customer service is horrible! Very unprofessional! Dont have a clue what there doing and lack of communication between each other. I went to Europe to visit my family and when I return western dental said that my account was in collections so I paid the entire contact almost $1,300 I had my bank statement showing I paid and I booked my appointment through corporate and they scheduled me almost a month later, when I got there they were extremely RUDE! I explained to her YES I did pay the entire contact she said no you didnt, but they had already brought my son back there and so she went back there and told my son to go back with your mom! Completely e ridiculous!! and couldnt be seen! so I wasted a trip from Davis to Sacramento in after work traffic, she said I dont know why they booked you, she said to call corporate and of course the office was closed. She also said that I should have went through the office but I also tried to explain that when you call I get directed to corporate!!! RUN! Waste of money! Rude staff! No one knows what there doing total lack of communication among each other. I had 3 accounts through western dental I pay all in cash!! Paid them all in full! No one needs to be treated like crap! When you call corporate to explain your story they come up with all excuses! And no one will connect you to someone who actually is important to speak to, you get the run around! This is the western dental/ortho on Elkhorn Blv. In Sacramento CA. The rude unprofessional lady her name is Camie. Shes in the ortho dept. my name is Debra Read all of western dental reviews 1st. From all there offices! WOW they are horrible.

Great and friendly staff. Even when theyre short staffed and running around trying to take care of multiple patients at a time, they still make sure to make you feel wanted and like every patient is important. Judith the lady in charge of insurances was very friendly and made all the hard insurance information very easy for somebody like me who knows nothing about it. Jolly, my dental hygienist was great at making you feel safe and has a very soothing voice that easily reassures you that youre in good hands. Trust me on this you are in good hands with him. He worked with me every step of the way and took extra time to explain things in full details so I knew what I needed to do for great oral care after my visit. For the life of me I cannot remember their names, and Im sorry, but the back house supervisor and both my dentist that worked on me were also very friendly and professional. If you need anything theyll assist you right away. If youre in too much pain theyll take a break and give you time to breath. If the pain is too unbearable theyll even use more numbing shots to take away the pain. They make jokes and like to have fun there because who like to goto a boring dental office right? All in all this staff is very friendly, fun, professional and hire great employees. I will be coming back often. I hope you do too!

Had an appointment, been waiting for it for months. went in to check in, one of the female staff says nope your not in the system, So i call the other office, she says yeah your ib the system, she called back to the frobt office, and soneone else besides who i was talking to answered, and she found my name and appt. I spoke to her she told me that there new computers, I didnt even get a sorry from the other lady, before that i asked to speak to the manager, they send me the floor soup, i told her about my appt, she said that they dont even do the type of procedure that i had an appt for, i told her then your staff needs to be more knowledgeable in what your office does or dont do, she walked away, didnt even look to see if i had an appt, no apologies, this office is NO GOOD!! and they over book!!! there staff needs more training in the filed in which they are in. An apology would have been nice, End result, did not get seen, had to make a new appt at another location. 3 weeks away...

The worst dental clinic Ive ever visited! Always waited for at least an hour until the dentist started treating, and had only ONE tooth done per appointment! Ive got 5 fillings to do - thats 5 days off work/college, and extra lidocaine/pain/discomfort. (Maybe longer appointments even if I had to wait longer for them would be the solution? WD geniuses dont get it...) Twice waited for over an hour, and was told Id have to wait at least another hour; 1st time that happened, I swallowed that and left, and the 2nd time... well, that was the last time I set my foot in their office. Another big issue is the quality of treatment. Not a single time a dentist asked me whether I had a good bite after a filling was done (every time it was too high)! I had to tell them about that as they were walking away to another patient, and they reluctantly came back and fixed it with a "rolling my eyes" type of attitude.
