Every time I have been here the dentist was nice but their billing practices are questionable. I pay my part of the bill but they add charges before submitting to insurance for payment. They also added an "Emergency Visit" charge for a same-day appointment and did not say anything about that. Just added it when billing insurance. That wasnt on what I signed, but its now on my credit report because insurance refused to pay it as did I because I was not informed there would be an extra charge for a same day appointment. She didnt even act as though it was an issue to come in on the samecday, so I wasnt even aware that something MIGHT happen like that.

My experience with Dr. Mark Backhus was very pleasant. He made me feel very comfortable with the plan of treatment they had for me. He went above and beyond in helping me with a chipped tooth I have had for over 10 years and never thought of getting it fixed. My smile has not looked this healthy since the day after I had my braces removed. The other members of his staff are warm and friendly. You really get a sense of them being more like a family than a team. I trust Dr. Backhus to be my preferred dental provider for many years to come =)

She always takes special care to ensure my time in the chair is pleasant and pain free. Dr. Backhus always has a great story to start off his check.
