Overall I have had good experiences at Kaiser (most doctors Ive seen are fabulous with just a couple of duds). I went to Martinez once with a massive migraine (I couldnt even see) and the person checking me in for my appt wanted to take my picture for my chart. I was like, "NOW? Cant it wait?" so she backed off. I was miffed that she would think it was a reasonable request under the circumstances. I really hate having to go to any Kaiser pharmacy. They desperately need a numbering system or something so disabled people like myself dont have to stand in line forever twice (once to drop off and once to pick up). Theyll say order online, but you cant with any scheduled medications so you really have no choice but to deal with the lines. Theyll give you a card if they are waiting for your prescription to be filled and then call you when its done, but last time this happened the people sitting around me were all talking about how unsanitary it is to have those paper cards go through so many hands in a day (and its a hospital so how many of those people are ill?). There has to be a better way to manage pick up and drop off.

Went for a flu shot and the Dr had the nerve to question why I was coming in so late for the flu shot because I had missed all the flu shot clinics. What a jerk we had all been sick and you cant get a flu shot when your sick. This is not the first time I have had lousy service at Martinez Kaiser. They really need to clean house and take out the bad seeds.

Dont fund this place. You would have to call them 4 times and most operators will not pick up the phone! And apparently Martinez Keiser has no direct phone number so that you may contact them if theres any situation. Wow!!! Lousy people.
