Call to schedule an interview. Scheduler said its a two months wait. I had some sudden flare up of acne and had my family doctor checked and prescribed medications already. However, its been about three months and theres still no progress and I kept having rashes on my face along with the acne so I really needed to see a derm. It was my first time seeing a dermatologist, Vena Melendez, and gosh was it a horrible experience. Had to wait thirty minutes from the time of my appointment and then after all that wait, the two months included, it was a five minutes consultation that told me nothing new. The doctor was abrupt and dismissive of my concerns. I had so many grievances that I was hoping that she would address, and she made it felt like I was wasting her time. An example conversation would be: "I was wondering if you could give some recommendations for my sunscreens. I dont know why I keep I getting rashes to the brands that Im trying...is there anyway you can --" "Well you shouldnt use chemical ones" "No all mine sunscreens are mineral based" "You know you should sunscreens that have zinc oxide in them" "Yes, those are--" "Using chemical sunscreens will not help your case" "Yes Im using brands like banana boat baby sunscreen which is zinc oxide base" I dont think I can efficiently describe the frustration of seeing a doctor how is so dismissive of my concerns or rather is so poor of a listener that she cant let me finish my sentences. Someone who made assumptions of my knowledge and treated me as if I had no clue what I was putting on my face. Told her assistant to give me some Cetaphil that resulted me telling her I cant use any moisturizers. She didnt even give me chance to explain my concerns! Like why am I even seeing you?! What a terrible doctor. I paid for this appointment. I waited two months for this appointment. I did not walk in and demanded a free consultation. If I knew that I would be waiting two months for five minutes of her dismissive attitude and telling me what I already know, then I could be saving myself a lot of time and money. Needless to say I wont be coming back.

I am not one to ever give a review, But I called to schedule an appointment to see a doctor. I had been a previous patient of the clinic and went in 3 years prior. After going through all of the insurance a account info with the receptionist on the phone which took about 5 minutes. She stated the earliest appointment they had available to me was 24 days away. I told her that was a really long time and she said that since I havent come in 3 years thats the way it was. The receptionist was rude over the phone. I will never go back to this clinic or recommend it to a friend. Customer retention is not one of there skills and 24 days down the road I am sure my skin condition will be fixed. Thanks for a waste of time and being rude and not retaining a great customer.

I really enjoy visiting the tiny downtown Everett office of North Sound Dermatology. Parking is fun (chuckle) but once inside the very small reception office, youll be greeted by the nicest people in the profession. Laura, Donya (sp?) and all the rest will treat you as if youre one of the family. Smiles come easy here. My Dermatologist is Vena Melendez and I think shes the best; aside from the freezing cold spray on my facial pre-cancers (how many of these can one person have?!) She offers concern, good advice, and total knowledge of my history. Best of all, shes thorough and hasnt failed to speak to my concerns. Thank you all, at North Sound Dermatology!

Went in the morning for a Mohs Micrography surgery. I was very pleased with the quality of the service and the friendliness of the personnel in general. Dr Schmidt gave me with all the required information and made me very comfortable during the whole procedure. I was very surprised and extremely impressed when, around 6:30 PM, I received a phone call from Dr Schmidt who wanted to know how I was doing and wanting to make sure I knew how to reach him if needed. I had never experienced or heard of a Surgeon taking the time to call his patients personally. This goes well above and beyond the call of duty!

I was very happily surprised, got there almost 10 minutes early, was given paperwork, set down to fill out, nurse came & we went to exam room, answered a few questions. She left, told me to fill out paperwork , told me to take off my stuff, started on papers again, but then Doc came in before I could get done. He did his exam in less than 5 minutes he was done, nurse told me to get dressed & fill out the papers, she came back said what I had done on paperwork was enough. Altogether in & out in 15 minutes at most. Happy with service & friendly people.

I had 2 appointments with Doctor Craig Baugher. Hes exactly what a person would want in a doctor for this type of thing. He was friendly, discreet, comforting, thorough yet quick, and very informative. As a dude who is completely new and foreign to anything dermatology related, this was a fantastic first experience. Cant thank him enough, and the rest of the staff was just as friendly and helpful. Great job, gang!

They did the job. The staff were friendly but I felt like I was being rushed the whole time. Place is clean and warm and pleasant. Nothing much to complain about....oh except I said I wanted some more services and someone was supposed to contact me and never did, so they lost that business.

Dr. Wu found a basal cell carcinoma that my former dermatologist had ignored for at least 3 years of ev ery six month skin checks. I am grateful for her attention to detail. i have also had aesthetic treatments at the.medi. spa next. door with good effect. Higheat recommendations.

One of the worst Dr. office I have ever been to. its the Jiffy lube of Dr. business. went in 3 times and never got a proper diagnoses. Also very expensive. Went to a new Dr. in Kirkland and is looking like my problem is solved

Dr. Wu and staff were great, my skin issues were discussed and treatment recommended. I also got a good amount of samples to try on my skin to avoid purchasing and finding they do not work. I would definitely go back.
