FIND ANOTHER DENTIST! It had been over 3 months that I had my work done - out of nowhere I get a bill for almost $600.00. ~ To make a long story short - they incorrectly processed the request for my dental work so my insurance did not pay them what they expected. They are now trying to get the money from me & are now sending my account to collections!! I can ASSURE you they had me pay my part in full before they were done with me!! The over-all service that I had was ridiculous. I had to get an Onlay done – so they had to get a mold and fit me for a temporary tooth. On the first molding attempt I almost chocked to death because the girl had used WAY too much mold & it started to slide down my throat – as I tried to sit up – the girl pushed me back ~ not realizing that I was CHOCKING! Once she realized – she apologized. It took 3 attempts for them to actually get the mold done. Then they fitted me with a temporary tooth ~~ it was more than temporary being that it was out by that night! I ended up having to go back 3 times to get the temporary tooth fixed. Once my molded tooth came in, I was back in to get the final work done. In the process of the girl removing my temp tooth ~ she broke a piece of my real tooth!! Ugh! Really!!! They then had to do another mold because she broke my tooth. I had to come back again and they finally finished. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND HOPE YOU ALL JUST MAKE LIFE EASY AND FIND ANOTHER DENTIST TO GO TO.

My son and I decided to try this office because it is close to home. He went first for their $40 offer to exam, clean and xray his teeth. after 90 minutes he left after paying over $300. I followed him in and suggested to the dentist that she was using a bait and switch approach to lure in new customers and then over charge them. She tried to talk her way out but she did not have an answer. She basically told me that there were different levels of cleaning. Ya right, I have had my teeth clean over 75 times and never has anyone tried to upcharge me for a cleaning. My current dentist charges about $105 for a cleaning. This poor soul is trying to build a practice and does not have a clue on how to do it. Her office is empty....surprise surprise......I would not recommend her to anyone... I feel offended when someone tries to steal from me. Tommorow I will visit my honest dentist is Simi Valley a longer drive but worth it!

Moorpark Smiles has the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff! They make each visit a pleasurable one, and make you feel extremely comfortable. Judy is awesome and always very helpful, and Dr. Takemoto is the most effieicent and effective dentist around! I always know Im in good hands when I go in for a visit. Ive had my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Takemoto, cavities filled, and cleanings with no complications. Every visit has been smooth regardless of my reason for going in. This team is always ready to answer any questions you have and help you have the most pleasant experience possible!

Ive been to many dentists in my 46 years that were basically all the same. Their demeanor was cold, were often very pushy with proceedures they insisted must be done, no regard to putting me in horrible amounts of debt and backed by staff that were as friendly as traffic cops. Moorpark smiles im very pleased to say is nothing like that. I found Dr. Paul Takemoto to be simply awesome. He was very kind caring and showed nothing short of highly skilled professionalism with staff to boot all in a very clean and professional office. I was very impressed. I would absolutely recommend. A+ no doubt

Love this dentist and the office. I have the worst dental fear and this office is always nothing but friendly compassionate and reassuring. I had a wisdom tooth removed today and while my anxiety was through the roof everyone remained patient and friendly with me the entire time. I highly recommend this office!!!! Update 5-13-17 Had a deep cleaning done yesterday and this office still was outstanding with making me comfortable and but so anxious! I would definitely recommend anyone who has dental fears to come here!

For a year I had different insurance. I hated the dentist with that insurance. As soon as I went back to other I was able to see DR Takemoto again. 1 year of torture and pain made me an anxious patient. But 5 minutes in his chair I remember why I have stayed with him.for 15 years!! Dr Takemoto fixed my teeth and I wasnt white knuckle in pain. The other plus is there is no upselling. The prices are clear and upfront. The whole family sees him and we could not be happier.

I have to say I had a great experience at Moorpark Smiles. I needed a crown put on my tooth the price was right and the service was awsome. I was out of the office with my new crown in place in no time! My experience was so good that I took my 7year old daughter to get her check up there she loved it! I would definitely go back & recommend this dental office to others. Thank You Moorpark Smiles :)
