Dr. Dermody has been my primary care physician for over 20 years since I was 4-5years old. Ive never had a single issue until I called in today to make an appointment and was told by the receptionist I was no longer a patient there. She couldnt tell me why but said I must have done something bad. She then put me on hold to find out what and never got back on the phone. I drove down there explained I was the one who had called in trying to find out whats going on? Receptionist says if I dont leave immediately shes calling the cops. I hear Dr. Dermody talking and yell out "Dr. Dermody Ive been your patient for 20 years whats going on?" He comes to the front and says its all over a 25$ bill I never paid. I said I called in about that bill and the receptionist told me it was taken care of. He said he doesnt work for free and so he wrote off the 25$ and me as a patient but since he hadnt mailed the proper paper work he would see me one last time because he was required to by law. I was completely taken aback saying I had no problem paying 25$ but I didnt want to be a patient to someone who didnt want to see me. So after 20years Dr. Dermody tried to drop me without explanation over a 25$ misunderstanding! The receptionist was completely rude threatening to call the cops. I can be rude but in this case was completely polite and genuinely in disbelief over what was happening so they had no reason to treat me like that. I would be cautious before going to this doctors office!

At 43, and I have lived in 6 different states, this office by far is most unorganized and unprofessional medical practice I have been too. 8 months, still have yet to meet the doctor and they still can not find my med records after giving it to them 3 times by paper and once by email. Shame on me for not keeping a copy Do not recommend to an enemy
