I am absolutely infuriated with the billing practices of Western Dental. I feel like they have incredibly unprofessional and downright shady practices. I went in to get some work done and the estimate they gave me was at first over $1000. Then I reminded them I had insurance and they lowered that down to around $650 for a payment plan. Not once did they tell me how much it would cost without the payment plan. Or how much it would cost after everything was done. Further, when I was sitting in the chair and waiting for them to work on me, one of the office assistants or scribes (I am unsure as to her position) came in with a bag with a couple of things and told me that "This is included in your visit" which to me signifies complimentary as in no charge, at no time did she tell me that the goody bag was costing me roughly $200. At this point I thought that the reviews about WD were wrong and that maybe the customer service is just awesome and they were trying to make up for some things. I was wrong. It turns out that the "INCLUDED BAG" turns out to be a $200 retail PURCHASE of which I was not informed of the price. So my $450 visit which I could have paid for in cash at that moment turns out being $700 roughly. In addition to that, I see some things on my charges which they charged my insurance that I am pretty sure did not in fact get done. I feel like I was taken advantage of and am incredibly upset. I will never be going to Western Dental again unless this gets rectified. I will also be telling as many people as I can about the horrible billing practices and pitiful customer service they have.

Note: The receptionist Ana and crystal are the only nice ones. This establishment and the "caretakers" DO NOT care about you. They are highly incompetent and the day I am able to afford a different insurance plan, I will never step foot here again. I would never recommend anyone to go here if they absolutely had the choice. When it comes to telling you about a bunch of problems you have, theyre willing to make appointment for you to come back. But when it comes to resolving those issues it seems to take forever or they just dont care. It takes them weeks to get back to you, even if they promise to call you back and you leave several messages. They are extremely disorganized and unaware of what theyre doing. My sister had an issue with her root canal and our insurance denied the procedure because Western Dental didnt send the required items for processing. Then we came in for another x-ray only to be told it wasnt even for her root canal. I called my insurance and they told me none of the information Western Dental claimed to have sent was received. I truly am so disappointed and can say genuinely that this is the most disgraceful establishment of dentistry Ive ever encountered.

I wouldnt recommend wasting your time going to this place. First visit was ok but was told the doctor wouldnt be able to see me and that I would have to reschedule... Made an 10am appointment and it was an hour after that I got called back. It took another half hour before the doctor came over. No hello or anything, which is a bit rude. After the exam (5 min maybe) he left and I was left with someone to go over everything but she needed more info. Another 20 min later I had to leave. I asked them to just email me everything or call, which they said they would. No phone or anything. I call back and was told I had to talk to my "patient care coordinator" who wasnt available and would call me back. Again no call back. Called back today and told the same thing and that I needed to call back a week later cause she is now on vacation. This place a joke and a waste of time!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, hard to believe this place is still open. As all other reviews my experience was dismal. I was in terrible pain and called to make appointment after 15 min on phone answering every question I was able to book an appointment. I have dental insurance and also willing to pay cash out of pocket to get a tooth extracted. After counting the min till I could go, I was greeted by a receptionist who stated I could not be seen here even though I had a confirmed appointment. They use a phone bank off site to schedule these appointments and dont be fooled by their " how may I make you smile today" greeting. No matter what your dental emergency is dont be fooled go elsewhere you will save yourself much frustration and wasted time.

Pésimo servicio..No se vale que te te tengan por 2 o 3 horas ahí aplastado para que al final te digan..lo siento el doctor esta muy ocupado con otros pacientes ..no te va poder atender hoy .. Háganme el favor.. Entonces uno que es no se supone que también es cliente .. Esto 2 veces me lo hicieron no recomiendo este lugar no se vale que te hagan esto..

Find any other dentist... or just rip your teeth out with pliers... wait time is insane. . Expect to be here a min of 2 hrs.. and up to 4... staff does not give a crap, and its all about taking your money... I asked the Dr, is there anyway that I could get less antibiotic shots, because they are not covered under insurance, and I had over 500 dollars in shots... He told me he would give me a couple free.. so when I went to check out, they were still on my bill.. he said that he thru in a few extra...I didnt ask for a few extra, I want my bill lower, and how do I even know he gave me a few extra.. the point was to bring down my bill... This is buy far the worst dental office I have ever been to...

Had schedualed an appointment for my daughter to be seen since her tooth carck and was in servier tooth pain she is only 4 years old. They called me back to tell me that they would not be able to see her until Monday. That my appointment was made threw corporate and they arent familiar with their scheduel! ARE YOU KIDDING ME CORPORATE its self isnt aware of their service but go and set up appointments for them just to call and tell you you cannot be seen honestly this place is not even a one star recommended! Its a zero star to be hoonest! Staff is a joke! Also asked to speek with a manager but she was on a confrence call. MY ASS SHE WAS POOR SERVICE AND EMOPLIYEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience was horrible. The first appointment for my son was apparently canceled because their was no kids specialists that day. i did not get a phone call cause after changing my number twice, they yet to update it. Then went in today they canceled my appointment yet again because the dentist for wisdom teeth isnt today either but had one for braces that i said i didnt need. Again no phone call cause they yet to change my number AGAIN! Corporate and my napa buisness have no communitcation and cant seen to hit a simply button and update my phone number! Terriable service
