Dr. G. is the best vet I ever went to. I have had dogs for the past 40 years, therefore I have much experience with vets. Dr. G. is caring, professional. One of my dogs had a skin problem for a year, which made her suffer constantly. She was brought to a vet specializing in skin issues, as well as numerous other vets. No one could solve her problem, or even took the time to really care about solving the problem. I took her to Dr. G. Gave him the symptoms, and told him no one was able to help her. He researched the symptoms that night, called me the next morning with a diagnosis, and treatment, and she has been wonderful ever since.

Newport Animal Hospital is the absolutely best practice I have ever experienced. The staff is truly concerned about you and your pet. Ive been going there for nearly 5 years and have never had even a mediocre experience. Drs Giannone and Heathcock are excellent at what they do. They have helped me with everything from my dog needing stitches to him requiring surgery for tumor removal. They are a little on the pricey side, but are well worth it. I highly recommend them. I have been a pet owner for over 30 years...and experienced all types of Veterinarians....but none as compassionate as Dr. G. He just met our four dogs..at a meet and greet in his office...and the dogs had run of the showroom. The staff had fun and so did Dr. G. Now after two have had to have surgery....I know my animals are in the best of hands...and what a skilled Vet Dr. G. is... His clinic is state of the art!

Our first time visiting Dr G and his staff...what a fantastic experience. From the time we walked in until we left my German Shepherd Diesel was handled with attention and affection as if he was already part of the family. We were impressed!! Would definitely continue to trust this practice. WOW!

Truly amazing, caring staff. Dr. G is friendly, down-to-earth, and takes his time explaining everything! There is an in house lab and digital xrays, which makes all the tests/xrays they do ready in a short amount of time! I wont trust my beagles with anyone else from now on!

Definitely the best bet I have ever been to over the years. The staff is always extremely helpful and happy to see you. They can take you with short notice and they always have been able to help my pooch with big and small issues. I love everything about this place!!!!
