Wonderful experience. Bringing your sick baby to the vet is never a fun experience, but its a relief to know your baby is in good hands with people who really care. First off we were greeted by Alex at the front desk with a kind smile, and friendly conversation. Then we were checked in by Roger who got all the basic information about what the situation was with our kitty. He was very through in his questioning, and gentle with our kitty. Dr Cathy Nguyen saw him, and she was soo good and gentle with him as always. She even worked with him in his cat bed so he would be more comfortable! She clearly walked us through her recommendations for treatment, and answered our questions throughly. After reviewing our estimate for treatment we had a few more questions, and Maggie the office manager came in to review them with us. With our questions quickly answered she took our kitty to the back for treatment in his blanket to keep him comfortable. The staff quickly got our kittys treatments done, got our meds and our bill ready, and we were ready to be on our way before we knew it! Even better? Only 12 hours later our kitty was clearly already feeling better and on his way to recovery.

Sparkys Mom

Update: My dog Sparky was unable to breath and coughing. Dr Levin got into action immediately! Thank God because Sparky turned blue. Xrays showed phnemonia respritory infection. He was given a heavy sedation to supress the cough and major antibiotics. 3 weeks later, Hes doing much better. This was scary. Withour the quick actions of Dr. Levin, he would have died. Im telling you Google users and anyone in need of a good place, Dr Levin is wonderful. This is a great place! Thls is a phenomenal team of doctors and staff who REALLY care. Prices were beyond fair and the staff treats your pet as if it were their own. Their care, concern and kindness is unsurpassed and I know first hand how quick they move in an emergency. Dr Jim Levin has owned it for over 37 years and knows what hes doing. He saved my dogs life! I wouldnt go anywhere else. They have clinic days Wed and Sat where costs are half price for certain needs. This is a professional establishment with an unsurpassed skills and the care they provide your pet is second only to your own. I highly recommend them for any need from nail trims to surgery. Your pet is in the best hands possible!

I love Dr. Levin and the rest of the staff at LBAH! They are always so welcoming and excited to see my pet, its a very comfortable office to visit. Dr. Levin definitely performed a thorough exam and is willing to explain what he is doing. I really appreciate that they offered a free exam to new clients so that I got a chance to meet the doctor and get to know the practice before investing too much. I like how the techicians go over the estimates in detail so I can know what is going on with my pet, why they are doing specific treatments and how much it is going to cost. Rebecca (I think she is the office manager) is usually the nurse for my pets and she is so sweet! They have very competitive prices, but provide a great quality of care for my babies. Its also nice that the office has a little store where I can get food, toys and other supplies...they also have their own parking lot, which makes things so much more convenient. Definitely the place to go if you want a vet who is really going to care about your pets wellness.

My family has been going to Laguna Beach Animal Hospital for many years now. All their doctors and staff have always given us great expert care. But, the real test of their high quality treatment and loving care came this year when one of our dogs got very ill. Dr. Levins attention, treatment, and support of our dog Maxey that required many extra hours of his time with us and specialists has shown him as a true, loving advocate of his clients and their pets. We cant thank him enough and Drs Alkofer and Rosencranz and of course--the knowledgeable, caring staff for their care. Oh, and by the way--our dogs love them too. Deborah and Sal Maddi--and Maxey and Sophia too!

So disappointed in the service here I called regarding my beloved pet as a past client with concerns, Rodger said to me " If this is about money you should consider giving the dog to a shelter" Good job!!!! People who have no compassion shouldnt be working with people and their pets. I love my dog like a child. So if money is overflowing in your bank account and you want to give it freely to these people all the best to you and your pet. Me personally Im having all my records sent to me today as I prefer to spend my money on a business where someone working there a beating heart.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ this is the rating I give them lots of dollar signs no compassion.

I dont know how these people got such a high rating, 1st they basically took advantage of me. And my situation when my small dog had blockage due to bladder stones, they charged double for what almost any other vet I have called sense then would have charged and they did not even try to do a flush as most of the other would have, they just want to do a surgery.. Mind you these are very small stones that several came out during the cathider process, in addition they want to charge nearly double for a surgery than 4 other local vets quoted 2 in the same town. 3500.00 vs 1500.00 to 2000.00 I am extremely disappointed, and actually feel ripped off!!

Hi, I am a 7 year old French Bulldog. I have a lot of health issues for some reason, but its ok because Dr. Levin and his staff do a great job keeping me healthy. Mom and Dad live in Las Vegas but we come to Laguna for our vacations, and also because I love, love, love my vet here!! Ive had 2 operations at LBAH. Even though sometimes I get nervous, I always end up feeling well loved, healthier and happier after a trip to Dr. Levin. His staff are especially nice to me and give me lots of hugs!! I recommend LB Animal Hospital to everyone I know! Dr. Levin even calls Mom to follow up after an appointment and see if Im ok.

Dr. Levin and his staff are wonderful. We have Great Danes and they have helped us through some medical issues to ensure the highest quality of life for our big guys! He is a fantastic vet, with a heart of gold, a true animal lover who does what he does because he loves animals. I was impressed beyond words and their kindness, and expertiese and will refer everyone I know with animals to have their loved ones seen by this kind gentle compassionate man with the type of wisdom only time brings. A MUST GO TO FOR ALL THOSE WITH ANIMALS THEY LOVE.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Levin for more than 15 years. He is absolutely the very best. I have moved to Santa Ana and still make the trek to Laguna Beach to have Sapphire and Trevor cared for. I would not take them anywhere else. They are thorough, well trained and COMPETENT. What else can I say other than they remember my pets, remember their past ailments and communicate with me on a regular basis.
