I am so glad that i found DR LIM... words cannot do justice for the feeling of both physical and emotional relief i have right now. DR LIM took the time to listen to me (!!!!) and not just shove down my throat thousands of dollars of pills and tens of thousands of dollars of CT SCANs and MRI SCANs and Blood tests. I have been going to Internal Medicine doctors and GI specialists for over 4 years now.. You name the test and i can guarantee i had it-- all with basically normal findings.. Since there is a distant family history of colon cancer i was pretty scared about having some form of cancer== though all my fecal occult blood tests were normal. ALso I have extensive travel history through South America and was also worried about a parasitic infection causing my non stop stomach pain-- No lie, i have have abdominal pain for 4 years now--and no I am not pregnant !! H. Pylori stool and blood tests, stool for ova and parasite etc etc but nothing that stood out as the root cause of my abdominal pain--- I was actually wishing that they would find something , anything to explain what was wrong with me.. DR LIM was the first and only doctor to suggest the easiest and simplest thing first-- "Jeffrey -- lets do a complete colon cleanse with the GOLYTELY and see what happens!!" I dont normally like to discuss my bowel movements with strangers but-- for the first time in 4 years i was able to use my stomach muscles to take a deep breath in without terrible pain-- you know when you take a picture and want to look skinnier you hold in your stomach-- i havent been able to do that for the past 4 years !~~ DR LIM was the first person to figure out that basically i was constipated !!! and the reason for my pain was distention of my bowels from not going to the bathroom sufficiently to evacuate my bowels...Did I mention emotional and physical relief!!!?? We both decided that an endoscopy was a good idea to rule out any form of stomach ulcer-- which could have been caused by the cupboard full of medicines that the other doctors gave me !~~ So i had my scoping yesterday-- piece of cake and= guess what-? thank god no cancer and no ulcers--- so now we both know that i was just constipated from slow moving bowels-- I guess getting old isnt fun or pretty.. DR LIM now has a patient for life and I cant thank her enough and now realize that the other doctors were practicing medicine as if their mortgages and car payments depended on it !!! Lastly and most importantly== "NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES"-- DR LIM if you are reading this please accept my sincere thanks for what you and your knowledge and expertise were able to do for me !!! Dr. Roxanne Lim is an amazing doctor! I went to her after seeing another local GI doctor for 8 years. I finally decided I needed a second opinion as my symptoms continued to get worse and my original doctor didnt seem to care or help me so I would get the relief from the pain and discomfort I have been having for almost 9 years now. Well once I met Dr. Lim I immediately liked her. She had a great, down-to-earth personality and made me feel she truly cared about getting to the bottom (no pun intended lol) of my problems. Needless to say she scheduled two procedures for the same day, diagnosed me with a different diagnosis than my previous doctor and changed my medicine to ones that have helped me TREMENDOUSLY to feel better. I can finally say I have a positive out-look on a more pain-free, comfortable life. Thank you Dr. Lim :-) P.S. She always spends her time talking to me at each of my appointments and never seems rushed. In my opinion that is so important in finding the right doctor. One who takes their time and listens.

Dr. Lim has changed my life! She looked at me and told me that Yes, I was feeling fine, but I was not feeling great! She took me from remission to clinical remission! I havent felt this well in six years! She is such a good doctor with such a great personality and she makes you laugh every time you go to see her. She took her time and explained everything along the way so that I could understand it myself. She truly cares about her patients and I am complete proof of that. She has made my life and that of my 16-year-old son so much better and I will be forever thankful to her!

I found her via ZocDoc, and I have seen her several times over a few months now. She is fantastic. She listens to my concerns but does not patronize, yet she was honest and straightforward. It is difficult to find a doctor who really understands you as a person and your body, but shes really great. Every time I see her, shes upbeat and happy and we can talk about personal issues without a flinch. I recommend her to all of my friends and family.

Really two-faced. Her voice with her staff and with her patients is completely different. I had a prescription bottle in my purse and she yanked it out without asking and proceeded to ask me why I had it and told me it was not a good medicine for me to be taking. But she had prescribed it at my last appointment. So rude and horrible memory.
