I am writing this review and recommendation for Dr. Yoo as my family doctor for over 25 years. I am always very impressed with Dr. Yoo’s ability to handle a very stressful condition or pain, and get the proper treatment quickly so that I can be pain free for a long time. His professional approach and knowledge definitely helped me to understand and learn any new treatments or how to prevent any re-occurrence of the injury. Dr. Yoo has an exceptional sense of responsibility and ability to work with patients of all ages. My 80 year old mother is in his care for a long time and is in great health. My daughters of age 21 and 19 are also in care by Dr. Yoo since they were born, and they love him. I am very grateful that he is always available for my family. In addition, the office staff and nurses are very friendly, and always provide a very accommodating environment for any patients. If you need a best doctor in Los Angeles area or a first-class treatment for your medical conditions, you definitely need to see him asap. Your injury, pain, or life will be significantly enhanced.

The only reason why I am giving this a 2 star rating is because Dr. Yoos nurse Stephanie is an awesome nurse. I did not even feel a thing when she drew my blood. And she was very efficient in getting my authorizations for a referral to see a specialist. But I would have rather had the Dr be more involved in my care. I had this specialist go over my lab results in more detail and to find out all these things were wrong with me. Not hearing it from the Doctor himself, whom ordered the tests was very disheartening. I got results from his nurse which was good but it is more important for the Doctor himself to go over each test result and explain. Now I have to worry about my liver and I did not know I had liver issues.
