Lets just get it out of the way: this dentist is shabby, from the offices to the dentist chairs, and the vintage of the X-ray chair really has me wondering what sort of tools they used on my teeth. But beyond that they put me on a crazy 5-appointment plan to do loads of work, when my teeth have always been healthy. Thinking this didnt sound right, I switched to another dentist who - sure enough - told me that much of the ordered work was not needed and has now completed the work for $600 less out of pocket than what Family Dentists would have happily charged. And when they refunded me money I paid in advance (by credit card), they told me they couldnt refund the money onto my credit card, that I had to wait a week until they ran their payroll checks!! To be fair, I will say the office staff was very helpful in scheduling all the various appointments at my convenience. These folks are friendly enough, but that doesnt spare them a 1-star rating: for dingy conditions, unprofessional procedures, and planning unnecessary dental work!! Family Dentists? Not my family!

My experience was horrible. The staff and assistants were all lovely but the dentist I saw was HORRIBLE! I have never had such an experience. He was rude and pompous. When I asked him questions about the work he was recommending, he got defensive, raised his voice, and insulted my teeth. I tried to respond to clarify that I just wanted nformation/to understand, but he wasnt having any of it. I had to leave without getting my cleaning. I would not trust someone who is so defensive about their work with my teeth and I dont want to give sometime so hostile and rude my business!

My insurance doesnt cover 100% so I have to shell out dough but they dont just gouge you for the rest like some dentists. The dentist had a cool accent and worked fast and with confidence and did a great job. Im now sitting here at Wallys Corner sipping a beer and my toothache is gone, so i dont have to get drunk to numb the pain! Not only did he cure my toothache but helped save my liver too. So what if the paint is a little old and there is no hdtv with a dvd of fish swimming in a tank, I dont go to the dentist to look at paint or watch digital fish! They just get er done.
