I came here because I needed a new contact lens prescription and they had good reviews and a convenient location. I saw Dr. Most for the lens fitting. The prescription wasnt good so I went back, he tweaked it a bit and said it may be that my eyes were dry or that I should try cleaning the lenses with various special solutions. Those didnt help and I returned and he gave me a different brand that wasnt much better. After several rounds of this I went to a different optometrist who gave a significantly different prescription that works perfectly. Also Dr. Most was not particularly friendly. I would not recommend this optometrist.

Ive been going to Dr. Matteson and Dr. Most since I moved to the Bay Area back in the 1980s. The service, quality, knowledge and patient interaction has always been top-notch. I always use them even in the years when my work medical insurance means the full cost is out-of-pocket; the consistent quality is worth the cost.
