Dr. Lukens is an excellent optometrist and his staff is incredibly on point and friendly. My daughter and I have been going here for several years. My daughter started as a young pipsqueak and now she is a young lady (on her good days). Dr. Lukens has always been great with her and we bought frames with insurance and glad because she lost them once and broke them once and we were covered. Think it was only $10 to repair the broken ones. Dr. Lukens is great with patients of all ages, very kind and gentle nature, as well as knowledgeable and thorough. For frames, its obvious that the focus (haha) of Eyewise is on quality not quantity. I am a big fan of the lines they carry, particularly SALT, Anne et Valentin, Lafont, and Ic! Berlin. I totally drool over every time I go. The real problem I have is that I cant afford all the frames I fall in love with. A bonus is that his office is very tastefully decorated with nice art and CLEAN! Couldnt be happier with this place! Very grateful. :)

I followed Dr Lukens from when he worked at For Your Eyes Only in San Francisco to when he started Eyewise Optometry as a new business in 2009. He is a wonderful Optometrist. I have a complex RX in my glasses and have had to send things back to the lab multiple times to get it right. He was patient and professional every single time. When I had to convert to progressive lenses, I had the same experience. he obviously loves what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. I would follow him to any other office location. Hes just that good. Shelly, the Optical Manager, is also extremely helpful, patient and professional.

Ive been coming here for years and love it. Dr. Luken and Dr. Kim both are great with kids - even when they arent the patient. Theres a play area for kids to keep busy while mom is busy. The other staff members are also really great and helpful. I really recommend them if youre looking for a new optometrist.

My favorite doctor visit every year. This place has some of the best frames anywhere. I love getting a new pair just about every year and I always get a ton of compliments on how unique they are.
