DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS! I have been or rather was a patient for 2 yrs and have totally fallen out of love with these guys. Poor service in following areas: - - lack of time mgmt & organization - - they get you in late and out late, went in several times for cleanings and for every cleaning it took an hour and a half or longer - way too long for a cleaning! - - not up with technology - - the front desk can not scan you anything. They can only fax or snail mail. With all the smart phones these days, someone should be able to scan a document and email it! - - poor hours of operation - - its really hard for a career worker who has a commute, so im tired of trying to work around their schedule, when i have lots of other dentist options with better available hours, plus their finance/accounting team doesnt operate until 10am, but they dont mention that. So good luck if you need somethin fast for your insurance company - better hope they learned how to scan! - - lack of personal touch - - Ive called in and emailed complaints and not once did I get a personal call from Dr. Sjoberg, and Im not even sure if he even knows I had some issues with his firm.

Describe my experience. Lets go back 27 years, shall we? Like many of us I too am terrified of going to the dentist. Before my visit to Amador dental I have been putting up with two upper wisdom teeth that were decaying. I called a coworker and asked did they have any recommendations and thats how it all began. Back then they were on first Street in Pleasanton. On the day of my appointment they looked at the wisdom tooth that was bothering me the most and told me that they would be able to remove it that day. I tried to find every excuse not to have that done but after several attempts I finally agreed to have it removed. The one thing I remember the most was it didnt seem to take very long to have the whole thing done and Ive been going ever since Keep up the good work!

I went to Amador Dental for 1.5 years and was consistently disappointed. While the dental care itself was good, it was not clear to me that the services provided were required. Services seemed to be based more on what my insurance would cover rather than what my teeth needed. When problems arose, I felt talked down to by the dentist. I actually had to point out that the dentist was being rude. Also, the dental assistants often spoke beyond their scope of practice, which was very concerning to me. It was not uncommon for the dental assistant to say something that was then contradicted by the dentist. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Sorry it took me so long to leave.

I have been going to Amador Dental for over five years and am VERY pleased with the service and care I get there. Dr. Sjoberg and his staff are professional and personable. I have needed some major work done at times and the staff has always helped me plan payment options and scheduling of appointments to maximize use of dental coverage benefits. I have always received welfare calls to check me for pain levels and recovery progress. Everyone at Amador Dental has always treated me in a friendly and helpful manner. Ive been going to Amador Dental for over 10 years and Dr. Sjoberg and his staff are caring, compassionate and professional. After debilitating migraines for several years, Dr. Sjoberg diagnosed me with TMJ and within a week of treatment, I stopped having migraines. I can never thank him enough for taking the time to analyze my symptoms and develop a unique treatment plan for me! When I moved out of state for a new job, I came back to Dr. Sjoberg for my dental care, never bothering to find a new dentist in my state. That is just how good Amador Dental is!!!

I have been to a lot of dentists over the years and never really found a dentist that I feel 100% comfortable with until now. This is the place for me and I put my trust into the work they do. We only get 1 shot with our teeth and I get great personal care here. I had an experience that really made me feel good about choosing this dentist. I had the most painful abscess and the care was above and beyond to help me through it...my Dentist even called me several times a day through the weekend to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend Amador Dental.

The best dentist in the Tri-Valley. Ivre been seeing these people for a number of years and must say that they are very caring and expert at their craft. They explain needed procedures, but always make sure my insurance will cover what is needed. At times they have recommended delaying a procedure until the insurance would resume coverage. This is unlike my wifes dentist, who goes ahead, no matter what, and puts us on a "payment plan," where if he waited a few months, the coverage would have been there.

The AD&O team is fantastic! Doctors Sjoberg (DDS), Sahota (DDS) and Amy (RDA) are very talented with many years of experience. They have an amazing staff, have the necessary equipment onsite for virtually all dental procedures (rare to find) and have an excellent location near downtown PLS. I highly recommend their quality service.

There are many great dentists here in Pleasanton. This is NOT one of them. See reviews on yelp from others (we do not have a review there). We took our daughter to this place and spent a lot of money and got what we feel were unwanted procedures.
