The good: several of the receptionist girls out front are pretty hot and wear shirts that show a lot of cleavage. Considering this is a review of a dental office and its the one good thing, that should tell you something. The bad: most everything else. My experience with the specific dentist I had wasnt as bad as some of the other reviewers, but I do agree with the complaints about the setup of the office - its basically pretty much open with no privacy. The dental technicians leave a lot to be desired. Finally, they really screwed me over by setting me up for an oral surgery that they should have easily known their staff could -- or would -- not handle. The dentist I had (Boyte) seems to have a pretty good handle on things. But overall the techs are pretty dismal. For instance, each x-ray had to be repeated multiple times before getting it right. I had to have a root canal as well as a crown put in and I ended up being there for over 4 hours. The technician working the computer to create my crown was obviously pretty much receiving on-the-job training, using me as the test dummy. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, and this kind of thing happens from time to time. But I really left with the impression that most of their techs are very new at their job. I firmly believe the company running the place doesnt pay them much and it seems they have a real problem keeping any of them around long-term. But my biggest gripe has to do with their "sister office" out in Roseville. I needed a tooth extracted, so the Rancho folks set me up with an appt. at their Roseville location which is about a 45 minute drive for me. I scheduled time off from work and arranged for my mom to come and pick me up. When I showed up but they wouldnt let me see the surgeon because I "didnt have a ride." In spite of my promises that *my mother* was on her way and that I wasnt making the crap up, they insisted that they would not proceed. I even explained that I had the potential for being a "tough case" with regard to me medical history (Ive had radiation therapy in my head and neck). I made it clear that I really should discuss this with the surgeon as soon as possible, but they would not relent. So I sat. When I finally got in to see the oral surgeon, within about 3 minutes she basically refused to do my surgery because of my medical history. This is in spite of repeated submissions of detailed info on my medical history at every step, both verbally as well as repeatedly on paper. This wasted 1/2 a day for both me and my mom. If they had let me see the oral surgeon right from the start, I could have at least saved *her* a trip all the way out there. Just really poor service and really ridiculous and bizarre policies.

I transferred from that office for many reasons: 1- It is about quantity not quality. They have a half dozens chairs in one room and the dentist runs back and forth among them as they keep all the chairs full at all time. That causes you to have no privacy. The patient next to you hears all your issues and you hear all theirs 2- Their Ortho is so so so bad. After 2 years of having my child on braces, she tells me that you can never give somebody an ideal smile. If that was the case then why did we have to put my daughter through that pain for two years. After I went to consult with 4 other orthos, they were shocked. They said that the work that was done would never fix my childs smile not in even 10 years. She had to have at least 2 teeth extracted and then she can have a perfect smile. So after two years and $2000 + insurance we are back at square one and my daughter has to go through the pain again. But this time the insurance wont pay a penny. Thanks to Dr. Sudha! So I will have to cough off a $6000. My babys smile will never be right because of Dr.Sudha. I dont mean to be a racist but she should go back to India and practice there since her work is not at an acceptable standard here. I got to give credit to their hygienist. She was the only one who knew what she was doing. The rest shouldnt be operating on humans! 3- They make you wait for hours but if you are late 10 minutes then your time slot is gone and you have to reschedule! 4- One sign of a good business is how long their employees stick around. At that office the employees change so fast by the time you memorize the name of one, she is gone! Need I say more! Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else!

Ive gone to this office a couple times. Most recently for a problem with my tooth. I havent had a toothache since 1985 and this time I was in a great deal of pain. I saw a Dr Jun who was new to me, my regular dr moved. He took little interest in my pain and basically said he saw nothing and sent me home. A few days later I called to say I was still in pain. I was prescribed motrin 800 and an antibiotic. Why an antibiotic when you didnt see me but anyway...I had to be seen again and saw Dr Oh. He was awesome... genuinely concerned and explained a lot to me. I went back for a follow up with Dr Jun and in the waiting room he recommended I see Dr Oh since I saw him before. I felt like they shouldve called me prior to taking the time off work. He then comes into an exam room and tells me again I need all this expensive dental work and refused to do a regular cleaning but insisted on me having a deep cleaning which is painfully expensive and a root canal saying I have an infection after 2 courses of antibiotics. The receptionist Heather seems bothered when you talk to her and has this issue with rolling her eyes back in her head while youre speaking to her. When I went for my appt she called me to her desk and not even a good morning or hello did she utter. She simply started talking. Rebecca is very polite!!! The assistant who worked with Dr Oh was awesome and the one with Dr Jun my first time was awful, and rough... she didnt even speak. I know they wont miss my business but I wont go back there. They referred me to an endodontist and when I called them to cancel my appt, the voice mail was full!!!

Overall experience is good, but..! Im 24 yrs old and this is the first time im visiting a dentist. My appointment is at 3.00 pm(thursday) and i checked-in, filled the forms and submit my insurance at 2.35 and the X-ray started at 2.55pm itself. My UHC soft dental plan covered basic cleaning, X-Rays and stuff. after cleaning i complained about the hole in top-left-wisdom tooth, Dr.Khan suggested me to get it pulled out instead of investing my money on filling and crowns etc.(which is a good idea though). they charged me 98$ for pulling it out, and suggested to have a surgery for my other 4 wisdom tooth(but im not going to spend money here(in USA)-ill have it done when i visit my country(India)-its relatively cheap). and the total bill is 123$ i forgot what is that extra 25$. at that time due to anesthesia i didnt concentrate on anything else. because of tooth extraction, for the first two days, i didnt anything. im afraid ill get cavities, so, i consume only soup for lunch and frozen yogurt for dinner. and a small piece of bread for breakfast. because of not eating and got cleaned, my tooth became so sensitive, even water at room temperature shows effect. and the socket from the extraction still bleeds after 2 days. as weekend came i couldnt call the clinic. ill wait till monday and call the clinic.
