Everyone here is amazing. They offer every service you could need from general health, womens health, dental and behavioural health. They take medi-cal and you do not need to be an American Indian to come here. The front staff are the sweetest people youll ever meet and always ask about preferences when scheduling appointments. The nurse practitioners listen to you and help you make your healthcare choices instead of making them for you. They are well educated with wonderful bedside manner and if they are unfamiliar with something, they will admit it, look it up and ask other colleagues if necessary. I often describe them to my family as rockstar doctors without the ego. Patient care is clearly their priority and they are a great example of what whole patient care can be.

I love this place. The staff is fantastic, great medical care & the NP are the best. They have everything I need for my healthcare, and I couldnt ask for a more comfortable place where everyone knows your name, and they REALLY care about your well-being. So far so good in the two years that I have been going here. Everything you need, medical, dental, and much more. Completely professional and I am a city chick from Chicago, and would only go to Northwestern. San Diego American Indian Health tops them as far as the care and honesty that is given (so far).

Being native and working with the local tribes, this place is perfect for the local American Indians of the San Diego county. They are culturally understandable and go out of there way to make me and other natives that visit comfortable, seeing as how theres still social stigmas with the older generations of indigenous peoples. I cant speak for people who come from non native descent how this place is, and I know theres not that many Caucasian LOOKING people that work here. All the therapists and councilors are native.

I just love Dr. Shaun Austin. He gets me. He is not like most doctors. He connects with me. That means a lot to me. He even took the time to explain what each lab results meant. I love the office staff also. The lady that does billing etc was sooo very patient with me and helped me get my insurance straight. That also meant a lot to me because I just dont understand that stuff.

Just finished with my first appointment at my new doctor earlier today at Native American Health Center in San Diego. I am so relieved I have finally found a doctor who actually cares about my health concerns. Daphne is an amazing doctor and shows her concerns and asks many questions and we discussed how to deal with my health issues. Im so thankful this place exists!

VEGAN LOVE ENDURANCE

I love this clinic medical and dental. They are very nice, respectful,helpful and extremely understanding. I have never felt so welcomed and understood at any clinic but them. My whole family will be going to them from now on! Plus they gave me sage and respect my beliefs.

I really like the doctors and staff at this clinic my favorite Dentist just perform some fillings and it was wasnt a pleasurable experience but it was by far best time I ever had at a dentist office and it was enjoyable like I said a little pain never hurt nobody

Ive been coming here for 2 1/2 years now and they have gotten better and better. The medical, dental and behavioral staff are all great if you are great with them. It takes two to make a great relationship. I love the service I get here.

Reschedule reschedule reschedule... all the little long day... Lost another star.. because they "were closing up" wouldnt see me for a tetanus shot when they were still open. Only place for my medical and they wouldnt help me.
