May be the best dental experience Ive ever had. Every time I shopped at Henrys I saw the "dentist" sign and wanted to check out he office. Finally one day I just walked in to see if they take my insurance. The place looks like the lobby of an upscale downtown hotel with marble floor and modern furniture. So I thought it must cost an arm and a leg to get anything done here. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She told me they take my insurance and my first visit of cleaning, exam, and xrays are 100% covered. So i made an appointment and left. On my appointment day I was surprised that they took me in right away before I even get a chance to open the people magazine to catch on my favorite celebrities. I sometimes had to wait for over an hour before being seen in other doctors offices but I took the magazine in with me just in case I had to wait inside for the doctor to show up. I thought I was hearing things when the assistant asked me if I wanna watch a movie during the procedure and showed me a list of DVD movies to choose from. I chose "The Hangover" among the extensive movie choices from G rated "Shreck" to R rated "Scarface". Unfortunately I didnt get to finish this hilarious funny movie which was played on the overhead adjustable monitor. The doctor explained the treatment plan in detail and answered all my questions. The Office Manager went over all the treatments and I left knowing exactly what my co-payments would be. I felt like they are very honest and caring. The price was actually cheaper than other dental offices that had quoted me for the crown. Next time I got a crown in one visit. The computer made my custom fitting crown in about one hour. No labs, no need for temporaries or going back the second time for placement. He then mentioned if I am interested in having straight teeth and explained Invisalign and Braces options. No other dentist had even mentioned any solution to my crooked teeth before. Needless to say the same day pictures and impressions for the Invisalign were done and the treatment is going great. (The best thing I could have done to improve my smile). In short the office is very efficient, friendly, and helpful. They have the latest equipment which make it very comfortable for the patients. Nearly impossible to get disappointed.

I would not recommend this outfit under ANY circumstances, especially Dr. Khansari. They are dishonest and tried to rip me off. When I called them on it, they treated my wife very poorly during her subsequent appointment. Here is how they tried to cheat me: They did not submit claims for the procedures I had done in the order they were performed. I had alot of work done here ranging from inexpensive (cleaning, xrays, etc) to expensive (crown, surgery). They basically submitted the claims to Aetna for all the cheapest procedures first. Then, once my annual coverage limit was reached, they tried to charge me full price ( ie walk in w/o insurance) for the most expensive procedure I had done. I called Aetna and they confirmed that Smile Designers could only charge me a maximum of $400 for the work (since I am an Aetna member) instead of the $800 they billed me for (which is the full price). I called them on it and they adjusted the bill to the proper amount. Honest mistake? I think not. How come these mistakes never happen in favor of the consumer? After this, they treated my wife very poorly on her subsequent appointment. At any rate, I too had an experience like a previous reviewer where the work they did was not only unnecessary, but left me worse off and miserable for quite awhile, and they were not very helpful or sympathetic to this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

My son had a visit at this office. We arrived on time and my son and another gentelman where taken back at the same time. I asked if I could accompany him and the dental assistant informed me he would only be getting xrays then he would be coming out. So I waited, she came out alone and informed me that she had done his initial exam and that he was in need of 5 extractions (we expected) but she said the Dr. Still needed to see him and they would let me know what the plan was. I raised concern stating that I didnt want all 5 pulled at once. I gestured if I could go back now and she said that my son was watching a movie and just waiting for the dentist but that she would come back and get me when the dentist was ready. Next thing you know my son walked out with gauze in his mouth and holding three teeth. I was infuriated. No communication, my son even said after the xrays they turned the movie on and didnt let him know what was going on after that. We will not be returning to this facility

Nice enough dentist, Back Office Tech Tara is awesome, I wish I would be able to continue my treatment here. Unfortunately the front desk/payment coordinator Grace is HORRIBLE! For 2 years she has made every mistake possible. Instances where payments were taken yet never applied to my balances and instead I was doublecharged. She has repeatedly miss-verified my benefits even after me explaining to her and showing her in black & white what my benefits were. She has that "I know what Im doing" attitude and is extremely rude when you question her. This will be the last time I am over charged by hundreds of dollars by this office and then treated horrid by Grace. I strongly encourage any patient of this office to crosscheck the amounts collected by Grace with your insurance companies. Two years in a row to overcharge like this was not a fluke!

I come here regularly and am always pleased.... from the friendly front desk staff to Dr. Rafies good bedside manner and attention to detail. I like his minimally invasive approach as well as recommending only necessary treatment (came here after another dentist quoted me with a long list of dental work, and Dr Rafie said very few were necessary and the rest we could keep an eye on). I tend to have sensitive teeth, so weve had to medicate a couple fillings to desensitize the tooth and that helped. This is all coming from someone who used to have a lot of anxiety about the dentist, but I dont mind it now. The baggie of dental supplies on the way out is a nice bonus

Amazing experience. I was nervous about getting a crown put in. Turned out, I didnt feel a thing, I got to watch a funny movie, and they were able to do it all in one visit. No pain afterwards and is incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend.
