Most of the staff here were friendly and the place seems well managed. However, my experience seeing Dr. Reader was disappointing. He was very dismissive. I was recommended to him for my ocular migraines because hes one of the few "neuro guys" in SF. After about $600 worth of tests, all he ended up doing was writing me a new prescription, with no additional info to help figure out my situation. I was so dissatisfied and confused by his prescription that I booked another appointment at AccuVision Optometry. The optometrist there determined that my prescription from Dr. Reader was incorrect! She redid some tests and helped me understand that I had newly developed astigmatisms in both eyes (which Dr. Reader never even mentioned.) The eye doctors and staff at AccuVision were extremely helpful, compassionate, and much more service-oriented. I would highly recommend them over Pacific Eye Associates.

Dr Lim schedules 10-12 people at the same time as a result one waits hours to see him additionally I had cataract surgery with him and my eyes have never felt right since then: the scar tissue at place of inserting the new lenses is so thick on both eyes that I see parenthesis in my field of vision; Im afraid the factory attitude of the office carried over into the surgery room. I am in the process of trying to rectify what was done. And when I went to my optometrist for glasses, I was informed that they no longer refer patients to Pacific Eye Associates.

My experience was really nice, they were busy but they had a nice young man with a tablet checking people in and I saw him checking in with patients and checking on how long the wait was. The two technicians I met with were friendly and professional . Dr So was wonderful .

Doctors are good, but administration is terrible. All Appointments have been at least 30min late -- some as bad as an hour. Appointments often rescheduled. Other tests needed last minute and they cant accommodate. Expect a lot of hassel and a long wait.

Doctors are excellent; they take time to explain issues and treatment. The front office staff, however, always seems harried and somewhat curt.
