I cant say enough good things about Setty Dental!!! I have 2 brothers who have special needs that I help out. They needed a new dentist because theirs passed away. We went to 2 other dentist that had positive reviews but both of them wanted to do extensive work on them, charging thousands of dollars for each of them which they couldnt afford and they didnt want to do what was covered by their insurance. Because of the poor reviews for Setty Dental, I was reluctant to try them, but it was walking distance from where my brothers live. But they were so wonderful...especially Angela-the office manager!!! She got all their x-rays transferred for me. Dr. Singh let me sit in while she examined my brothers. And what a surprise when one brother only needed 2 fillings and the other brother only needed a deep cleaning! Most of the expenses were covered by their insurance and what wasnt covered Angela did whatever she could to lower our out of pocket cost! Each of my brothers walked to the office on separate occasions because I do not live in San Jose and could not drive them. Angela even contacted me to let me know that they arrived and when they left. Which was definitely an added piece of mind for me! Definitely dont understand the negative reviews but most of them are old and there have been many changes at the practice since they were posted...New Staff & Dentist! I only have positive things to say about Setty Dental!!!

No, it is not just the ex employee that complains. A poor dentist is someone who can not help you when you are in pain. Satty Dental takes that to a new level. You come in with good teeth and leave in pain. I came in for a regular checkup (I did not get the reminder that was customary before with Image Dental). With the new digital x-ray, someone, who did not introduce herself, quickly put together a treatment plan. 3 cavities, 2 crowns to be redone. I made the mistake to let them fix 2 cavities. The two fillings were $200 on top of my insurance. The procedure took 2 hours, and was very unprofessional (I swallowed half of the cooling fluid of the drill). My visit to Satty dental took from 2pm to 6pm, although I had an appointment. What bugs me most is not the $200. It is that a perfectly healthy tooth was drilled down to the pulp chamber just because they needed business so badly. Later I learned that with the digital xray you can present indents on a tooth to look like cavities. Then when the patients agrees to the procedure, the dentist drills into the tooth, although there is no visible or tangible sight of cavity. You draw your consequences.

I dont know about their dental offices, but the corporate office is a nightmare! The head guy or corporate manager is the rudest person I have ever interviewed with! He was late, and when he walked in, he didnt even acknowledge me. Then about 20 more min. later, his receptionist said he would see me now. When I walked in his office, he didnt even apologize or speak to me. I didnt know his name or anything. Right before I sat down, he snapped at me saying to shut his door. Needless to say, the interview went down hill from there. He kept awkwardly starring at me, and was working while trying to ask me questions. At the end, he told me he was done and turned his chair with his back to me. I was speechless and would never go back or even consider going to any of their dental practices, due to the rude and beyond disrespectful corporate office.

poor customer service, the dentist was worst than every one else, a year ago i went there for root canal and crown and they charged me $1200 and they charged my insurance $1000, i had some problems for the same tooth when i went back to them they refused to fix it then i went to diff dentist and they told me they did the bad job and they told me thats not gonna last for more than a year so i went to another dentist and they told me the same so i didnt do any thing about it til yesterday that crown fall out, i went to my dentist this morning after exam they told me she dont even put post on that tooth they just made the crown little bigger and they pushed it between my teeth any way now i have to pay for another crown plus $800 for another root canal

These people are shysters. Removed filings that did not need to be removed. I was in constant pain for two weeks. They then suggested maybe I shouldnt have had the filings removed, despite the fact that they recommended removing them. 1 year later, I have had to have one tooth removed, and two crowns. Stay the heck away from this place. Do not take your kids, friends, relatives, or enemies here. Also the insurance company says my record shows that one particular doctor did almost all the work on my teeth, but the weird thing is that I never met him... Super shady. DO NOT GET YOU TEETH WORKED ON HERE .

Bed costumer service, new staf every time I go there. Their equipment does not function properly. Unexperienced dentist who broke my porcelain crown and does not wont to returne my calls to repare it properly so that my tang does not get cut on a chiped porcelain crown. Be aware of being last patient of the day because your fillings will not be done properly. They will not ask you wath tipe of filling do you preffere? They used amalgam instead of withe resin. I will never go there again. I informed my insurance company of thay bed work and practice.

As I could not find the listing for Setty Dental...my 2 cents here. Good place to visit. Good staff, good doctor. More than anything. I dont wet my pants anymore to go to dentist. :-)..i know lots of people like me out there. Give it a try here if you are scared of shots. I didnt even feel the shot. Guys, who posted reviews below..i am not sure if you went to Setty dental or image dental. Everything changed in there from my last visit. Apparently new management, new staff and cool remodeled office.I am sure its worth trying now.

Poor customer service. Office manager is really rude. Over charge . You pay upfront a $10 sitting fee.What??? And it cost you $25 to have X-ray release to you. Oh I forget to mention, My insurance does not require me to pay for a copay with oral exam and teeth clean. She wanted to charge me $20 for the copay. If I didnot confront her, I have had lost $20 already. She shouted out loud in the front desk YOu have a lot and bad cavity. What? IS there HIPPA here????

VERY poor customer service. of the 4 office visits, the xray was down twice and the computers were down twice. Of the 4 fillings I paid for, they only did 2 of the fillings. THEY COMMITTED INSURANCE FRAUD!
