Let me lead with what I disliked first: I went in for a second opinion on a non-routine procedure I was asked to get from my regular dentist. The dentist asked me repeatedly why I did not trust my current dentist, (implicitly, whats wrong with me .. etc). They suggested I come in for more frequent cleanings (every 3 months). So I scheduled a check-in at 3 months. Then about two months later I receive a call from the dentist saying that shes uncomfortable with patients who come in for second opinions and "to be honest ... I need to reevaluate my trust issues" and why I dont trust this or that dentist! I was really made to feel incredibly uncomfortable with that phone call. To me it seem unprofessional behavior verging on getting personal. She was also pressuring me to "make a decision" .. either I go with her and get the whole work-up done or stay with my current dentist. But I "need" to switch or decide now! Which doctor you choose is a personal decision, but if a doctor is pressuring you to decide and calls up just to say I feel uncomfortable with second opinions and you need to look at trust issues... etc, its unbelievable. In truth, the technical skill and competence was high and they seemed to do a thorough job when I was last there but I think the doctor there needs to trust her patients and simply do her job and let patients decide (its their mouth and money) and not get personal with them or make them feel uneasy with odd phone calls.

It was my first and last time at this office. I can not recommend on her technical skills since I did not get any treatment. The rest of my experience: Major things: 1) the dentist will try to scare you into expensive treatments, that are not really clinically indicated (you might loose your tooth if we dont do this). Unprofessional. 2) the cost estimated for the treatment were outrageously expensive and was estimated to take several hours (the other dentist got it done in 30 min for 1/6th of her price) 3) extensive bashing of my old dentist (unprofessional work). Very unprofessional, indeed. 4) I thought she would also look over the other teeth since I was already there. No chance, she did not want to that. I would need to come back for another appointment to have that done. Minor things: 1) took a long time to get an appointment because the dentsit is VERY busy. When she actually found out how much money she could make with me, she suddenly had several hours of free time THE NEXT DAY 2) I had to brief her assistant about previous medical conditions, everything was noted in a checklist. That took about 10 minutes. When actually seeing the dentist, the assistant read the whole list to her, in my presence. Again 5 minutes, thanks for wasting my time. I could have told her myself. 3) It also took 5 min and 2 assistants to bring the X-ray images up on her computer monitor. Unprofessional.

Dr. Manyak has been my dentist since before she owned her own practice. When she opened her practice years ago, I moved with her because she is absolutely amazing. When you visit a dentist, you need to completely trust your provider. Its one of those things where you just take what the dentist says as fact since not only are you most likely not a dentist yourself, but you cant examine yourself either. I have never questioned Dr. Manyak or any of her staff who are all equally professional and caring. Now my two very young daughters (4 years and 19 months) also visit Dr. Manyak and her staff and are made to feel welcome and comfortable. The people at Manyak Dental Group make the experience fun for my girls, and I couldnt be more thankful. I very highly recommend Manyak Dental Group!

Dr. Manyak and her team are amazing. I have been Dr. Manyaks patient for many years. She attends to all of my dental needs with utmost professionalism. I also had Invisalign treatment and couldnt be happier with the outcome. My teeth look and feel better then ever and I love my smile. My son has been with Dr. Manyak since he was little, and I must say that she has an incredible approach with kids. His office visits were always fun and a positive experience. Dr. Manyak has outstanding bedside manners and you feel her genuine care. All staff are very professional, courteous, and make you feel at ease no matter how complex the procedure is. They always go out of their way to accommodate your needs and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Manyak Dental Group!

Fabulous, awesome office....I am a long time patient of Dr. Manyak, meaning I have had many cleanings and fillings done by her and her staff. They are always very knowledgeable about their field and perform to very high standards. The office is casual and small yet nice enough and makes you feel welcome. I love my teeth and smile (hey, after years of braces I really appreciate them!), but I dont treat them well. Dr. Manyak is exactly what you need; kind, educated, intelligent, and professional. She is an expert in her field and whips me into shape when I need it :) For my family and friends- the people who I want taken care of the most- know that I try to get them to go to Dr. Manyak all the time; most of them already are patients.

I trust Dr. Manyak and my hygenist, Ruth, with dental *and* overall health. No one had ever checked my mouth *routinely* for abnormalities that could uncover something as serious as tongue or mouth cancer. Now that is HUGE! I have a middle-age mouth which means a lot of my fillings had to be replaced, teeth have cracked and some of these problems required crowns in my mouth for the first time. At first I wondered how much precaution was necessary (e.g. replacing old fillings) until I HAD to replace a filling due to a bad "crunch" and "woops, better see the dentist." Dr. Manyak truly cares about you and yes - she isnt cheap - but nothing of quality is.

Dr. Manyak is the best! She is an excellent dentist, uses the latest techniques and equipment, has a wonderful and well-trained staff from top to bottom, and truly cares about her patients. Ive been Dr. Manyaks patient for Invisaligns, crown replacement, and general on-going cleaning/oral health and she and her staff have been great for all of it. They are friendly, kind and adept technically. I like the practice so much, I send my sons as patients, too. This is an outstanding practice!

Doctor Manyak and her staff are awesome! They are professional, friendly and warm. She is very skilled and patient that my husband and I trust her and we are going to her office since we moved to Bay Area. I had several problems in my mouth that I could not believe they would be fixed but Dr.Manyak fixed them and I am so happy whenever I eat without any problem. I command Dr. Manyak and her team!

Dr Manyek. A year ago you did a tooth implant for my husband. It is supposed to be permanent. Yet a year later we are visiting India and his implant came off. The dentists here in India do not have the screws as they are in metric system. You should have provided us the specifications of the implant says the local dentist. We are disappointed in your implant procedure.

Best dentist ever! Never had such a great experience with a dentist. Saw Dr. Linda Yip was blown away by how thorough and patient they were in explaining everything. Plus I didnt leave the office with a sore jaw or teeth! Highly recommended!
