BEWARE! terrible place! while there may be over 10 dentists here, my first, and definitely ONLY visit here was pretty terrible. I went in because of a filling that was originally done had broke. this was the second time it broke, and this was the 3rd dentist doing this work. While is it OK for the most part, I am now looking online to buy abrasive material to smooth out and polish the work because they didnt do any polishing and it is very rough. there is a spot that is cutting my tongue. furthermore, they said they wouldnt have to drill much so I agreed to only use topical anesthetic, and all of a sudden she tried to sneak a local injection in there without even saying anything. RUDE. This is my 2nd dentist in a row that just wants to finish the job as fast as possible without any polishing or proper finishing work. Will not go back, and hopefully this post will help people find a better dentist that actually cares about doing good, proper work.

First off let me say Im the biggest chicken when it comes to seeing the dentist. I came to Family Dental after years of neglect. My gums were bleeding and I thought Id loose all of my teeth. It took courage for me to set an appointment, Id experienced nothing but painful experiences with dentists. I arrived to Family Dental, experiencing nothing but friendly and encouraging staff. I was concerned I was going to get another lecture like I have received at other offices. Part of the reason why I rarely go to the dentist. My dentist gave me nothing but encouragement and helpful advice. My experiences with Family Dental have been better than Id ever have imagined. I recently went to get my teeth cleaned and it was the most pleasant experience ever. Thanks to the professional staff at Family Dental. Ive referred my friends and family to Family Dental.

I feel like they must invent some of their own comments. I am never going back to this place. The staff seemed unprofessional. They said my insurance covered me but it turns out they didnt. So I had to write a check right then and there for $5,000. Which of course I wasnt told till afterwards. The tipping point though is that the dentist I had casually mentioned I should wear a nightguard, and had it made for me. I then discovered that they wanted $800 for the little piece of plastic. Ive since seen one at target that is shaped to your teeth and looks IDENTICAL for $15. What exactly did I pay for? I have informed family dental that I will no longer be using them. The receptionist didnt sound surprised. She didnt even bother to ask why. I guess with their guerrila advertising they dont need loyal customers, only new suckers.

I found Family Dental thru 1-800-Dentist, and I am so glad I did! The work that I needed turned out to be extensive, but thru it all, my dentist, Dr. Kwon, was kind, caring, gentle and capable! The facility is bright, clean and cheery, reassuring from the moment you step thru the doors! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I wound up getting crowns for my top 6 teeth, and I cant stop looking at them in the mirror! They are so pretty, and I have my smile back! I am so pleased with the work and the absolute artistry it takes to make you feel like smiling again! My grateful thanks to all of you who took such very good care of me! I highly recommend this practice for any who are in need. They will go out of their way to offer their kind hospitality to make you feel at home.

My previous dentist who I always thought was the best around had retired and I was REALLY apprehensive about finding someone new who could satisfy my expectations. I made the mistake of "putting off" my search to find someone new and allowed far too much time to pass before I discovered someone else with whom I would be satisfied and pleased. I was referred to FAMILY DENTAL IN FOSTER CITY AND "EVERYTHING" ABOUT THIS PRACTICE HAS FAR EXCEEDED MY LOFTY EXPECTATIONS FROM THE MOMENT I FIRST WALKED INTO THEIR OFFICES. I WOULD NOT EVER HESITATE TO RECOMMEND FAMILY DENTAL TO ANYONE. AND IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE ONE OF THOSE PATIENTS WHO HAPPENS TO BE REALLY NERVOUS ABOUT SEEING A DENTIST, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU...THESE GUYS ARE THE VERY BEST!

The dentist was very friendly and professional. Explained things very well. They even had a TV in the treatment rooms!. They had this cool xray machine that you stand up in and it moves around your head. They said you get exposed to something like 80 to 90% % less radiation using this machine, which is GREAT relieve to me. I could even see the picture on the computer screen as it was going around my head. They dont put those ugly silver fillings in either; they only use what they called white fillings. They helped me with my insurance and the dentist even called me the same day to see how I was doing. Highly recommend these guys!

My mother is visiting from India and had problems with her dental implants. She was seen by Dr. Mikulic. After giving a very patient hearing, he understood our problem precisely. His approach and treatment were highly professional. We had earlier visited other implant specialists but were never as impressed and satisfied as we were here. The assistants were always thorough while preparing the patient for treatment. The office assistants were also friendly & courteous and made us feel very comfortable. The waiting time was minimal. The ambience of the clinic was also good and lastly the charges were very reasonable.

I am a basket case when it comes to dentists. My siblings and I were mauled as kids by a heartless git who looked on patients as pay checks. It is nice to see the opposite end of the dental spectrum at Family Dental. Dr. Chen has had to do some long and involved work (yesterday was 3 hours non-stop) and she has been excellent in her dealings with me. My instinctive reaction to the word "dentist" is to run, yet I have been made feel confident that I am in very good hands at Family Dental. Overall the facility is very modern and clean, all the people there seem happy in their work and they are open 7 days a week.

Hands down the best dental service Ive ever been to. The staff are super helpful and friendly, and my dentist ( Dr Landry ) is incredible, very skilled and caring. I did my root canal with her. She explained to me the procedures, ran through the risks with me and checked on me regularly during the actual procedure to ensure that Im comfortable. Thank you Dr Landry, you are really wonderful ! Only thing I would not recommend is doing the teeth whitening, it is kind of a peeling procedure, I only two out of the three layers, but my teeth were already too sensitive after the second layer so I had to stop.

This place seems uncoordinated and not very friendly. I set up a follow up appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction and some fillings. I get there and my doctor is unable to extract the wisdom tooth. I went to receptionist and she kept on telling me that she had me set up for fillings only and very defensive. How could it be when 2 days earlier I was in there for exam, complaining about wisdom tooth pain and while the first examining doctor said I could do another filling or extraction, she recommended extraction. Dont they talk to each other and is it the receptionist who is running this place?
