First things first, if I had a choice I would have given her a negative rating but unfortunately the lowest rating you can give is this! Dr. Khilnani never, I repeat shes never on time. The minimum amount of time that you would have to wait would be more than 1 hour! During the course of my pregnancy she was my Doctor for the first 2 trimesters. I once had an appointment at 11am and she takes me in at 2.30pm! Yes, thats right 2.30pm that is 3.5 hours late!! She would do unnecessary Ultrasounds, even when it is not required. She had done 4 Ultrasounds in my first trimester itself whereas I had read online that only 3-4 ultrasounds are needed throughout the pregnancy. During one of the ultrasounds she diagnosed me with an ovarian cyst. She said that nothing has to be done with the cyst and pregnancy is normal and healthy. She charged me separately for this whereas I had went in for a routine prenatal check up. During one of my visits we discussed about constipation as its very common to be constipated in first trimester. She charged me for that as well, whereas all this was a part of the prenatal check up. She showed those 2 problems as a part of my office visit and not prenatal visit for which I had to pay her 100$ separately. When I argued with her billing department on this issue , they said that since she didnt deliver my baby they can show all my prenatal visits as my office visits and make me pay for all my visits! After a lot of argument and delay I ended up paying those 100$. Trust me if you want to save your time and money, do not go to her ! I would not recommend going to her . I really didnt have a good experience!

Here is my take on Dr Khilnani, Overall she was Excellent. One of our friends whose baby was delivered by Dr.Khilnani (Dr.K)recommended Dr.K to us. Her Supporting staff were very friendly and helped setup follow-up appointments, phone questions to the doctor , Billing questions etc with ease. In my case , Dr K helped us deliver our beautiful baby with a natural birth. She was really excellent to work with. Why would I recommend Dr.K. : 1.) She doesnt complain even if we are late by 5-10 mins. And was ready to see us. This was a big positive. As I have to rush from work for these visits as my wife doesnt drive. 2.) She never rushes her appointments and was always available to answer questions even if we went overboard. 3.) She made my wife comfortable during labor with encouraging words that made her so confident. 4.) She is part of a call group of doctors , so there is always someone to answer question even at the middle of the night. 5.) She works with so many hospitals around the Bay Area so its always flexible for us to chose a best hospital birth center. 6.) She put my wife on some great prenatal vitamins and iron supplements . Our baby was born with super awesome hair , skin and nails. 7.) Its easy to get an appointment.
