We were at dentist for 2.5 hours today. No surgery, no filling. My son had to see an orthodontist through Dr. Radwans recommendation. Orthodontist is in the same office so it was convenient. The problem was... they couldnt get the impression of my sons teeth b/c he kept throwing up. They tried 4 times. All 4 times, my son would throw up all over himself. He was done. He was completely done and didnt want to do it any more. He wanted to leave. Finally, I asked if they could just give him some laughing gas to relax him. Orthodontist didnt have the license to give it. As we were leaving so disappointed that wed have to go through that whole ordeal again, Dr. Radwan stopped us and asked to let him try and gave him laughing gas. Not only that, he worked with my son to relax him. He took the tool that blows air and used it to blow cool air through his soaking wet hair with sweat. (From crying and being all worked up by a big tray of goo that made him gag over and over, to the point of throwing up). He ran his fingers through his sweaty hair. He told my son jokes. He moved the chair up and down trying to relax him. He had room full of kids in the other room yet he took the time to help my son who wasnt even his patient at the time (meaning, we hadnt scheduled an appointment with him). After some time with the laughing gas, he himself took the mold of my sons teeth. I was SO glad that it was finally done on the 5th try. It took 2.5 hours but with Dr. Radwans help, it only took a few minutes. Dr. Radwan was my sons dentist since he took out his first tooth. Back then, he used his own cell phone to record my sons first tooth coming out b/c my phone battery was dead. He did send the video to me which I was very grateful for. We were disappointed when my husbands insurance changed and didnt know that Dr. Radwan didnt accept our insurance any more. So when we showed up for our check up appointment, we were sent away. But our insurance changed again and could go back.

First appointment for my 4.5 year old and the dental hygienist was super good with explaining everything and making my son feel comfortable. The TV screen, headphones, and sunglasses also added to the fun experience, he didnt even want to leave! The only thing that I didnt appreciate was that I specifically requested no fluoride treatment during the cleaning but they did it anyways. I told the front desk, the hygienist confirmed with me before we went into the exam room, but during the cleaning I noticed her using something and asked her what she was using instead of the fluoride. She explained that it was fluoride, just a small amount mixed with pumice stone or something! I really didnt appreciate that, but I didnt make an issue out of it, and I will go here again because overall the experience was very positive for my son which is really important for visiting a dentist office. I now know to be extra clear with my requests before anything is done. I just didnt like that even though I specifically requested something that they went ahead and did it anyways!

The BEST kids Dentistry I have ever been to!! My children love Dr. Radwan him and his team have the best personalities and make my kids laugh throughout there whole appointment, they are always so kind to my childrens needs and wants we have been with Bay Area Kids dentist since 2011 my daughter had to be put down with anestista for her work on her teeth and I was a wreck but Dr. Radwan was so amazing and fast my daughter was in and out back home to rest and healed up excellent. My son is 11 and has also seen and been with Dr. Radwan since 2011 and I just took my 2 year old to have his first visit with Bay Area Kids Dentist and he loved it especially the prize box! Thank you Bay Area Kids Dentist for all that you do for my family and others keep up the great work!!!

Wonderful pediatric dentist practice, professional and kind staff. The hygienist, Daisy, was extremely patient, gentle and attentive to my son, an anxious and sensitive boy. She took a long time to explain everything she is going to do and the tools she is going to use in a playful manner. She put a smile on his face! She dimmed the lights in the room when he complained they were too bright, so that he can comfortably watch the movie on the screen attached to the ceiling:) She did an excellent job cleaning his teeth and getting him to cooperate with taking the x rays. Dr. Radwan was super nice and professional, and patiently answered all my questions. My son was super happy to get a prize before and after the cleaning. Definitely recommended.

Bay Area Kids Dentist is amazing! My child has been going here for several years and we have never had anything but wonderful experiences. My child has some special needs and severe anxiety in medical settings and his appointment today was challenging. The dental hygienist who worked with us was so incredibly kind, patient, and positive throughout it all. She was flexible with him and so encouraging. I cannot thank her enough. They are definitely skilled at working with kids with anxiety or other special needs. We usually see Dr. Radwan, who is great, but today we saw Dr. Metwally. He was also flexible, patient, and very friendly and engaging with my child. I wish I could give six stars because this practice is truly fantastic!

The dentists and staff here are wonderful. We have been going for two years now. My friend recommended this place and I am so happy she told me about Bay Area Kids Dentist. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding dentist office for children. The place is beautiful, and they have TVs in the waiting area and above the dentist chairs playing movies that kids love. They walk the child through the procedure and give friendly names to all the tool. Above all, you can tell everyone who works there is passionate about what they do and about making sure families have an outstanding experience each time.

This was my toddlers first visit to the dentist, and it went so well he was raving about it all the way home! The staff all seem engaged on the same task: to make sure your child feels welcome, theres no surprises during the visit, and everything goes as smoothly as possible. My child got to inspect all the tools used by the hygenist + dentist before they started work, then he got to watch his favorite movie during the cleaning! Id recommend this dentist to anyone with a young child... its nothing like the dentist office youd imagine. Very bright, colorful, full of toys and games and wonderful smiling people.

Dentist Ayman is The BEST!! My son has 4 cavities he is 4 years old he went in today to see the dentist and he did not cry he did not flinch he followed through with every procedure that needed to be done this dentist is very Good, he talks to the children very patiently and calmly He makes it Fun for the kids,.. I stayed in the room the whole entire time and not once did my son know I was there because the dentist and the nurses were so caring and wonderful with my son. They did their job to perfection. I recommend Bay Area Kids Dentist to anybody with small children they are trustworthy and compassionate.
