The manager was rude and the just want to make money. Even my 19 yr old son said I will never go there again. They seem least interested in checking your eyes, its more of a commercial place with nice glasses. For the contact lenses fitting for my son who has been wearing contacts, they did not even have him wear the contacts and check, just asked a few questions and printed a prescription. I dont even trust their prescription now. When I asked what do they do for contact lenses fitting (since I paid $40 out of pocket) they said since hes been wearing I just asked few questions and printed the presciption. Wow! $40 for printing a prescription. Federal law requires contact lenses fitting once a year when ordering contacts even when the power does not change! I am looking for a eye doctor who is well qualified and does the job well and not a commercial place like this!

Let me preface this review by saying I only give out 5 star ratings at about 10% of the places I review. 5 star reviews shouldnt be given out like candy IMO! This place is great. I was very impressed with how thorough the doctor was. She explained all the different machines and tests, answering my questions, giving me recommendations, etc. Also, the person who holds down the front office, made signing up, paying bills, making appointments such an ease. The office is very clean and modern with an intesive selection of designer eye wear. If only my insurance covered such a thing!

My wife and I are loyal patients for the last 5 years and our experience is very positive. The selection of glasses is slightly up-market but my impression is that pricing is reasonable. There are two things I would like to highlight about this place: 1. excellent customer service 2. Dr Helena is an outstanding professional (I had an eye injury which developed into a 9 month long recurrent corneal abrasion requiring multiple emergency interventions and she was available 24/7 - I just had to call her cell phone). I have been a loyal patient of Optima Optometry for both for my eye care examinations and glasses since 2012. Dr Helena Nguyen takes great pride in providing solutions for all of my familys eye care needs, with comprehensive eye examinations and treatments, and a great selection of eyewear and sunglasses. Ive never had any issues with my insurance coverage as they seem to be an accredited provider for many vision and medical insurances.

As someone who has recently gotten off medical insurance, Dr. Helena was extremely understanding of my position when it came to costs. She was willing to help cut costs when possible which helped me out immensely when I had a severe bacterial infection case and medications cost $50+. The assistants were also very helpful and respectful. Wonderful experiences (I had follow-up appointments) and definitely recommended.

I visited Optima Optometry for the first time. Everyone there were every friendly and helpful. Dr Helena was very thorough and did a great job. She is awesome. They also have a great selection of frames. The office was clean. Definitely I will go there again and will refer them to friends.
