Ive been a patient of Dr. Mintz for over a decade. My experience has been consistently exceptional. Dr. Mintz is professional, personable, and really cares about his patients. He has a great sense of humor and at the same time isnt afraid to be serious about whats in my best interest regarding excellent eye care. He is extremely detail oriented and precise. I had a prescription from another Optometrist when I first came to Dr. Mintz. After checking my eyes, he felt strongly that I needed an adjustment even though the prescription was only a few months old. It took some convincing but in the end I had him adjust the prescription. Turned out he was absolutely correct in his judgement. Ive trusted him ever since. The staff at his office is always knowledgeable and attentive. If they dont know something, they will check it out and get back to me promptly. Clearly, everyone there is oriented toward giving excellent service. Dr. Mintz has my complete loyalty. Though there are many Optometrists closer to my neighborhood, I choose to work with Dr. Mintz.

We were referred to this office as out previous eye dr no longer accepted our insurance. While it is a bit out of the way from Santa Rosa, & kind of hard to find, the care & service greatly , & quickly outweighed that. Dr. Mintz was far more concerned with my daughter being able to see then he was with the "hassle" of paperwork. Even thought we were on a budget, he worked with us so both of our children could receive the gift of clearer sight. I think we have found a new home for al of our eye care needs!

Dr. Mintz has been my optometrist for a number of years. He and his office staff are always pleasant to deal with and Ive found his eye exams to be very thorough. He also has a reputation for giving back to the community. I highly recommend him.
