I made an appointment with them a month ago to have my lenses changed. I have Medi-cal insurance and was told they would check to make sure I could use my vision benefits. I took time off work, drove from Sebastopol to Windsor, changes all my plans for the weekend because I thought I wouldnt be able to drive without my glasses, and show up on time. They make me wait like 20 minutes and then tell me that actually I dont have this benefit anymore. And then receptionist calls Medi-cal office (mind you I can hear the conversation) and asks if Im covered, they say I havent been covered for vision since March! Its July! Then she lies and says she doesnt know when I was no longer covered but it must have been in July. I would have made an appointment with the optometrist I trust and love in Windsor (Dr. Robert Gregg, who unfortunately doesnt take Medi-cal) A MONTH AGO when I needed to get my lenses replaced. But because of Family Eyecares unprofessionalism and lack of communication skills I now have to wait another 3 weeks to get an appointment for Dr. Gregg. Additional complaints, office waiting room was dirty and had fast food cups on the floor under the chairs. And the first time I went in to the office the same receptionist and the optometrist were arguing and she was getting yelled at right in front of me. Super awkward. So now two bad visits equal a bad review.

Dr. Walker fixed a problem I was having with contact lenses from another office. One of the contacts kept slipping off to the side, blurring my vision and making it impossible to use them. He examined my eyes and measured their curvature and size. It turned out the contacts from the other place werent the right size or fit. He prescribed the right ones, which seem to fit great, since they never slip anymore, I can see great, and I seldom even feel them on my eyes. He also got me a great deal on the lenses, including a money back rebate and some extra lenses for free! I couldnt ask for anything more. I also get my glasses at his office, where he has a good selection. I doubt I will go anywhere else as long as he is around.

Hi to every one I just want to say that he was very nice person and done every thing that he needs to do and found out what was wrong with my eyes and set up apt with eye specialist to look at my eyes and go from there. The entire staff here is courteous theyre real people that care about real people. I found them to be real humble and professional. Very knowledgeable in different facets of their profession. Their service is above-average and they get things done as fast as possible I do highly suggest you try them out for all of your eye care needs

Dr. Walker and his wife are so kind and caring, I had a eye infection and needed new contacts, he explained everything, they took care of me like family not a customer, very professional and the price was much less than I expected.
