Last year April 2015 was the first time my 6 year old daughter went to Eaton Optometric Group for an exam with Dr. Ng. He was so wonderful from the get go and knew exactly what he was doing and what his goal was for my daughter in correcting her vision. With our insurance, the exam was the only thing that was covered and everything was out of our pockets. Dr. Ng had a prescription for eyeglasses for my daughter and I thought it was going to cost an arm and leg like any other place. I thought completely wrong. It was quite affordable and honestly price doesnt matter if its going to help my daughter with correcting her vision. They called me about 1 week later to let us know her glasses were in. After receiving her glasses we came back 3 months later to have Dr. Ng check her out to make sure the glasses were doing exactly what he expected them to do and of course Dr. Ng was satisfied. Before leaving the office that day we had already scheduled her 1 year eye exam for April 2016, however the day before the appt I received a call from one of the ladies from Eaton stating our insurance has dropped Eaton (big mistake) as a provider and their office no longer accepted our insurance. I must say I was extremely upset and sad that this had happened because now I had to find another office and hoping and praying this new place would be just as wonderful as Eaton. A few days later I found Delta Eye Medical Group. After our first visit I was super upset and was not satisfied at all with the Dr. we had seen. I was so upset I decided to call Eaton and I spoke to one of the ladies from the office and vented to her about our visit to Delta. She was so nice and understood my concern and recommended me to schedule an appt with Dr. Ng just for a office visit and to get his opinion. I definitely jumped on that and took my daughter to see him. Even after a year later Dr. Ng was still as wonderful as the first time and addressed the concerns I had for my daughter. Dr. Ng did what he does best and examined my daughter and gave me good news. The goal he was striving for my daughter was a complete success. What makes it more wonderful is the way my 6 year old interacts with Dr. Ng. She was so comfortable with him and that was a huge plus for me as well. Thank you so much to Eaton Optometric Group for taking care of us and a special thank you to Dr. Ng!!! We look forward to our future visits with Eaton and Dr. Ng

The actual eye exam was well and enjoyed DR.Ng however, when it was time to check out the receptionist was very grouchy. I asked for a print out of prescription so she printed it and gave it to me. I went somewhere else and ordered my glasses since I was using my insurance for my contacts at eaton. I receive a call after the weekend from the place that I had ordered my glasses from letting me know that the prescription that I had received and put an order in for was for someone else!! I double checked my print out that the receptionist had given me and sure enough... they gave me another clients information! Not only is the other clients prescription on there but all of his personal information. I fear that they will accidentally release my information to people that I dont know. Good thing I didnt get my glasses in with the wrong prescription, it would have seriously messed my eyes up. Will never go back and wouldnt suggest them.

I have been seeing Dr. Hartzell for over 20 years. Not only is he friendly, but he explains what he is doing as he goes along, and is most experienced in recognizing ailments (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) before ones primary physician has even diagnosed them (this comment is based on my experience as well as friends who also visit Dr. Hartzell). He is very thorough, proactive, and you can count on him as being your advocate. His professionalism, balanced with sincere caring, is exemplary and he is the epitome of his profession. Id go as far as to say he is epitome of what an overall good person is.... Top grades for Dr. Hartzell of the Eaton Optometric Group.

the actual appointment was fine, nothing more than i would expect from an optometry appointment. but its the fact that they never follow up with you about your order, we constantly have to call weeks after we are supposed to have the glasses to see if they are in and ready to be picked up. they never initiate communication between clients and its becoming more and more common and equally frustrating. i understand theyve grown as a company but they have sacrificed their quality customer service.

I have been going to Eaton Optometric Group for over 30 years and have always felt well cared for. They have taken me from Astigmatism to progressive lenses. I now have some other health problems that are affecting my eye health and they have all the right equipment to make sure all it well ( or if there is a change). Their selection of fashionable glasses is excellent and if youre lucky enough to have Jen assist you in selection your are sure to find a fabulous pair or two:))

ive been going to Eaton for years.Never had a problem...in occasion i have had to followup with calls to check on arrival of eyeglasses.That is no big deal.I would highly recommend this group to any one looking for a good eye doctor.
