First I am the Mom to 5 special needs children. My personality can be an assertive Momma Bear. Our payor/ insurance is not always accepted and the treatment when we are is usually less than desirable. THIS ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT HAPPEN in Dr. Vallins office. With four exams required at the same time I had an appointment in a couple of days, rare at any office. The staff loves my children and gives their full attention and kindness to their care. No irritation is shown or impatience when presented with the quirky behaviors of my children. It has been a couple of years since our last visit, and the children had grown tremendously. My children were remembered, their growth noted, and tears were in their eyes at their progress. What a gift caring and professional individuals in the same package. When offered choices of glasses, which are limited by insurance, they do it in such a manner that the children do not know they are any different than any other client. I had major anxiety about switching eye doctors after having had the same eye doctor for a few decades ... and there was no reason to be nervous! Dr Waldmire has so much patience - hes caring and attentive - I never felt rushed or treated poorly. For each appointment so far, the wait time has been less than 10 minutes, even when there were several people. The office staff is friendly, caring and an absolute joy - they enthusiastically greet you as you walk in the door and they are all so attentive. Im so very glad that I read the reviews and took a chance on this place!

Amazing service from start to finish. I had an appointment within a day from phone call. Doctor provided thorough details of issues and necessary steps to keep my eyes healthy and strong. Staff were friendly and handled all aspects of insurance and payment information. Visit was very pleasant and comfortable.

I called to make an appointment and they demanded to know my physical address, which is ridiculous since Id given my home phone and email address. That should be more than enough for any communication in the future. I made an appointment elsewhere and they never asked my my address.
