I have been a patient of Dr. Hunt for as long as I can remember. When you find a doctor this skilled, patient, thorough and kind, you stay with them for as long as they are in practice. My family receives their vision care here as well and could not be happier. There is a trust that comes from knowing your vision care is in the best possible hands. The teamwork at this office is seamless and impressive. During an appointment you will encounter various staff, from the friendly and efficient front desk ladies to the initial optometry personnel that will treat you like family as they run through an initial exam, followed by dilating your eyes. Next is the wonderful Dr. Hunt who takes genuine interest and concern to ensure you receive the most complete eye exam while being treated like a VIP (very important patient). While performing an extensive exam, the doctor takes the time to obtain updates in my health, answer all my questions and carefully discuss her findings (any changes, concerns, etc.). Last, but certainly not least is the oh so talented Optician, Wanda. She has a knack for finding the perfect frames that make wearing glasses like wearing a fashion accessory. I rely on her knowledge and skills to guide me through the plethora of frame choices. I am never rushed as we sift through the most attractive and comfortable frames until we narrow down the choices to the perfect one. Next, Wanda will make recommendations to customize the lens. I am always very happy with the end result. My highest compliments go out to this Ophthalmology practice for hiring and retaining exceptional staff and for the consistent excellence that I experience year after year. I was a forceps baby having my head and eye nerves crushed in and basically blind. I was wearing glasses at the age of 11 months and had nerve eye surgeries at age 3, 5, and 7 and that doctor and surgeon has since passed away. Doctor Schermer was highly recommended and have been seeing him and doctor Hunt and they know my situation of my eyes, work for the best corrective action possible and available today. They not only offer options but they offer solutions to the problem and doctor Hunt is very personable, caring and takes the time to evaluate my eyes, my health and my diabetes as factors before a final prescription is provided. You feel you are wanted, taken care of and that your eyesight is more important to them than anything else. The corrections they have made for me now give me a chance to read more than I ever have before, drive with confidence and go enjoy places and things I have never been to before. My health is important to me but my eyes I can never put a more valuable trust on them than seeing these doctors.

What can I say? I trust them with my eyes. Their staff is efficient, friendly and professional. Recently Ive been having some issues with pain around my eye and thought it could be my vision changed. I was very nervous about the exam and the staff could sense it. Dr. Hunt and her team spent the better part of 1 1/2 hours looking inside, outside, behind, under and around my eye. They tested and retested to verify their findings. Dr. Hunt went over, with me, what she found or didnt and discussed with me some other concerns she had and suggested a couple of blood test . Her office contacted my PCP and made the necessary arrangement. Dr. Hunt contact me with the results and asked if they had rescheduled me for the next visit and I said yes. A few mins later, I received a call from the office asking when I could come back in. Apparently I hadnt rescheduled.... oops. Thats excellent service and commitment..

I saw both Dr. Schermer and Dr. Rogers at my first appointment. I have never had such a comprehensive eye exam. I was beyond impressed with both doctors. They are both so caring, warm, friendly,and extremely professional. They were determined to provide me with the best possible care. They are perfectionists and would not conclude the exam until they were confident they had the proper diagnosis and treatment plan. They also patiently listened to and addressed all of my questions and concerns. They truly cared about me as a person and made it clear my eye health was their top priority. Additionally, all of their other staff is wonderful - kind, caring and professional. I honestly cant say enough awesome things about this practice! I look forward to may years of excellent service from them.

Many years ago, I had an accident and sliced the corona of my eye. At the advice of someone, I saw an eye Dr. that was recommended. The result was negative, with no healing. The Dr. even suggested that I had non congenital herpes and that my eye may never heal properly. A friend suggested that I see Dr. Schermer. At my initial appointment , Dr. Schermer scoffed at the idea I had herpes, examined me, and completely changed my medications. Within a relatively short period of time, my eye was healed. I now see Dr. Hunt on an annual basis where she provides me with a complete examine and continual review of the injured eye.

I had two cataract removal surgeries with Schermer Hunt & Rogers a year ago. The operations were painless, convenient, and took about 25 minutes. The difference in my eye sight is amazing. I now have 20/20 vision AND my whole world is "cleaner". I am an artist and I had not realized that for years, evidently, I wasnt seeing the color white but a kind of beige/grey. After my cataract surgery, everything in nature is brighter, and "cleaner", like Clorox had been used to make things sparkle. Schermer Hunt & Rogers are the best! Id never consider going to anyone else.

I had a great experience with Dr. Schermer and Dr. Rogers on my recent eye exam. I recently switched from a different eye doctor. My wife has been going here years and recommended switching to her eye doctor. What a difference in the professional care and treatment. I should have switched sooner. Dr. Schermer corrected my prescription for my glasses because the other guys added unnecessary extras to my simple eye glasses. Anyway, Im glad I went to them instead of the other guys! Dr. Schermer became my doctor over 30 years ago when he took over Dr. Depps practice. Since that time he and his associates have given me and my husband marvelous care. The laser surgery he gave me in the 80s enabled me to see without contact lenses. This has improved my quality of life. All the doctors have been great to us. We primarily see Dr. Hunt for regular check-ups. For my husband this has been crucial because of macular degeneration and other problems. Our long history with this practice has been one of laudable care.

I was very impressed with the professional and thorough eye care I received from this office. The staff was friendly and all were personable and caring. When Dr. Hunt found a problem with my retina, she was able to schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist at Kaiser since we were losing our insurance and going to senior advantage insurance due to my husbands "forced" retirement. I would still to to Dr. Hunt and pay for it myself for regular check ups when possible. I am, again, very impressed with her ability and care.
