For the first time since I started wearing glasses in 1960, the doctor told me I had no changes in my eyes and I did not need glasses. She made no suggestions that I get new frames, or try to get me to buy anything else (sunglasses, or contact lenses, etc). She also informed my wife that her eyes had improved, and that she could use her regular glasses for the computer, and just buy some new glasses for regular use away from the computer. The staff, including the dr. are all very friendly, helpful, courteous, and efficient. This is our second year of seeing her, and we will be going back for many years to come, as long as she is there. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Trang. Her professionalism, charm, and personality make you feel totally at ease, and in control of your care. The staff takes the extra effort to make you feel welcome, and will show you all the options you have available regarding payment, frame selection, etc. They are, by far, the best team of people I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Too bad I only get to see them once a year!

I have officially switched over to Blue Oaks Eyecare from a place in Midtown Sacramento. Why? Because the staff is friendly and efficient, appointments are kept on schedule, Dr. Trang is very friendly and knowledgable, and she discovered that I have astigmatism in one eye that has been in my records for a few years but had never been discussed with me or corrected. Thanks to her, my headaches are gone, I can see street signs clearly, and my contacts arent popping out of my eye for no apparent reason. However, the frame selection here is high-end only (i.e. designer and pricey), which is a slight drawback. The upside is that no matter what you choose, it is stylish and the staff is very helpful in picking them out - they also dont object to you literally trying on EVERY set of frames in the store. Multiple times. In front of different mirrors.

**** HIGHLY RECOMENDED, I LOVE THE STAF AND THE PROFESIONALISEM, THEY TRULLY PUT YOU FIRST***** After a bad experience at Bliss Eye Associates, where I was treated badly and was given a bad prescription and told that was the best they could do... I COULD NOT SEE NEAR OR FAR FOR A YEAR!!!!! After a year I can see!!!!! I had a great experience with Blue Oaks Eye care. Doc was amazing, customer service is so outstanding ... I feel blessed, as I am not a rich man and they worked with me... The Doc, fixed my procreation first try "TRULLY AMAZING DOCTOR AND STAF". Thank you for all you have done for me, you will never know how much I and my family appreciate you professionalism and personal service!!!

They do not back their products. They offer no warranty or return policy. I bought 4 pairs of glasses. My husband and I do not like them. I brought my glasses back and asked the doctor to check them. She said she did before I picked them up. She didnt recheck my eyes and told me to use them for 2 more weeks. I waited the 2 weeks I have fallen down stairs (resulted is a twistef ankle) and bumped my head multiple times. These glasses are not working for me. This office ripped me off for $1000 out of pocket. I do not recommend them. Go to and office that has a warranty and at least 30 day return policy. If they dont back their products then you should question it.

i first went to see dr. trang for a problem and then later for some new prescription sunglasses. i was impressed with her professionalism and with her friendly staff that i decided to change doctors. not only is her office convenient but her office hours are also great. they carry a great selection of frames and the turnaround time for a new pair of glasses is impressive. the care they take to fit you once your glasses are returned is only one of their services to do things right with their patients. i do recommend her to friends here in sun city roseville because she and her staff are caring, friendly and professional.

I was very impressed when I went for my follow-up appointment. I knew my eyes had changed due to the medication Dr. Trang had prescribed. She immediately started checking my eyesight even though this was an appointment for a brief follow-up. She is always on-time for my appointments, knows my name and is very knowledgeable. The office staff has been very accommodating and straightforward about my insurance. Ive been going to optometrists for 50 years, and this is the most personal and professional experience Ive had.
