Visions is the best place Ive ever been to for eye care. I had an emergency as I woke up with a scratched cornea and came in as soon as they opened in the morning. I didnt have an appointment and Dr. Steinberg wasnt planning on coming in until later that day. Alyse at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. She assured me that I would be taken care of one way or another and comforted me. Her kindness was awesome!! She referred me to another place but they didnt take medicaid. So I went back to Visions and Dr. Steinberg was nice enough to come in. Dr. Steinberg was very warm and friendly, explained everything he was doing and showed me where on my eye the abrasion was located. He also took the time to explain, in detail, things he found in the photos of the insides of my eyes. He gave me lubricating eye drops to make sure my eyes were hydrated while I slept and disposable shades to protect my eyes from light. He wrote detailed notes for me on how to take care and mitigate the pain. They even squeezed me in for a follow up two days later right before closing. The abrasion healed quickly and I was all smiles from the relief of having healed and from having such a wonderful experience. Im bummed Im moving because I just found this awesome place but Im telling everyone I know that Dr. Steinberg is the best and the entire staff at Visions rocks!

We used to go to Dr. Shrek before he moved; the doctors are fine and nice enough but the service is horrible. I called to get a prescription and the receptionist did not know how to email it; when I was there last the other receptionist did nothing to help me find a pair of glasses. Just poor service. Best advice: Go there for your prescription appointment and then go somewhere else to get your contacts or glasses.

Lowell Steinberg is meticulous, careful, professional, and very helpful. My daughter had a small piece of pollen lodge under her eyelid and was in discomfort. Dr. Steinberg saw her immediately, put her at ease, and removed the pollen carefully and quickly. He also helped me discover something about my vision that no other eye doctor had in many years of exams. I cant recommend him highly enough.
