Alex and Mike at Atlas PT have helped me tremendously! The have brought me back to an active lifestyle after an Achilles tendon injury, and helped with shoulder and hip weakness and neck tightness! I trust their knowledge and skills. I was first referred to Atlas PT after an Achilles tendon injury. I was discouraged because I let the injury get worse and couldn’t do my normal activities. My sports medicine doctor recommended them and wanted me to have “dry needling” which I had never heard of and was a bit afraid of at first. After meeting Alex and seeing that he was both knowledgeable and experienced I was relieved. I improved much faster than I thought and on the way got help with some chronic knee pain and hip weakness. His help allowed me to get back to my normal active lifestyle after my injury. And I was so excited about the difference that dry needling made for my muscle tightness, even though I was skeptical at first it turned out to be very helpful! Over a year later, when I was swimming laps and noticed my shoulder was weak, I immediately thought of Atlas PT. I was extremely busy and didn’t feel like I had a severe injury that warranted a doctor’s appointment. What I needed was some help with my chronic neck tightness (likely related to stress and posture) and exercises to improve my strength. With their flexible hours I was able to go in after work. Mike used a combination of dry needling and strength training to dramatically improve my symptoms. As a medical student, it matters to me that my they are extremely knowledgeable about physiology and they provide clear explanations. I know I can trust their medical opinion. I would refer my medical colleagues and my friends to Atlas for any injury!

By far The BEST place to go for physical therapy, I was in a terrible car accident Mothers Day 2014 and suffered injuries to my left knee, a shattered left wrist, 2 broken bones in my left arm, and a shattered right ankle. I have hard ware in my right ankle to where it was on the verge of being fused together if it wasnt healing properly, my surgeon told me Id never run again. I was in a wheel chair for 4 months couldnt even use the restroom alone at first. July of 2014 I started seeing Alex for my wrist, I was back up using my left arm in no time! Then in August I was cleared to try to walk from my surgeon, Alex had me working to strengthening my leg back, before I knew it I was walking with crutches, then one crutch and then a cane! By November 2014 I was able to walk on my own with no help! I continued to see Alex until May 2015 a year from my accident and it was absolutely astonishing to see the growth, Alex then had me working towards our goal of running something my surgeon told me Id never do again, Atlas physical therapy helped me achieve my life back! It is now March 2016 and I CAN RUN!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE GOD FOR ALEX AND ATLAS PHYSICAL THERAPY! I highly recommend them to ANYONE who wants to leave there better then they started off! Alex works wonders! The staff is amazing, Angela is a pleasure to work with, she always got me in and made sure I was seen and even kept my son occupied during my appointments! If you want results Atlas PT is the place to be!!!!!!!

Amazing place, awesome team! I broke my ankle in January and had surgery a day later. About 7 weeks after that, I started physical therapy at Atlas and I could not have been happier. I was assigned to work with Kate as my PT and she was fantastic. She worked closely with me on movement, strengthening, massaging and flexibility in order to getting me back to my normal self and activities. At times, I even felt bad for her, because I am very ticklish so working on my foot wasnt always the easiest thing for her, but she took it like a champ; she even did a great job of distracting me in order for her to work on my ankle issues. The exercises I was instructed to do were super helpful, and I was able to do them both at home and at the facility (along with many more when I was there). I loved how I was able to work with multiple staff members while working out my ankle and everyone pushed me to keep going and never made me feel bad if I wasnt able to complete something, but rather said it was okay and we would try again the next time I came in. No matter the time of day or how busy they were, everyone said hello to you, by name, when you walked in making you feel very welcomed. Although I have recently graduated, I will sporadically go back so I can have Kate continue to help me recover, get new exercises for strength, and to just say hello to the staff. I could not be more happy with my recovery and the awesome people at Atlas who helped make it happen.

Alex and his team are awesome. From the first phone call to the graduation day they are friendly and supportive. I went to Alex for 9 months for PT for a shredded tendon repair after a surgical procedure. Alex is more than a Physical Therapist. He knows how to push you to your limit without discouraging you. He knows how to treat you as an adult and still help you push yourself .. A recovery like this takes an emotional toll and Alex was able to have my hope and energy back if I walked in discouraged or frustrated. He knows his patients and he has the right touch for each one. I listened to how he encouraged and supported other patients in the clinic. His positive and encouraging attitude made all the difference in my recovery. The thing I was most impressed.....Alex talks to you and listens to you as a person; not from behind a laptop or while reading the laptop! I never once questioned whether he heard me. I never once felt he did not know my injury and how to treat it; because,he listened to me every step of the way. As a result, I had the highest confidence in Alex which I feel is what allowed him as therapist and me as patient get the recovery that I did. Looking for a therapist that will listen to you and treat you individually? ....Alex is your therapist! Guarenteed! You will not be disappointed!

Atlas Physical Therapy and, in particular, the assistance of Alex Lanton, is definitively worth recommendation. I, unfortunately, had the misfortune of experiencing literally decades of lower back problems. I found my way to Alex after a 2nd surgery that, thankfully, fixed the structural problem but by the time I saw him, I literally had no ability to move naturally or trust my back in any way. Alex was quite insightful, seeing the physical rehabilitation that was needed but also understanding that my history required the process be slow, methodical, and carefully crafted. He was able to tailor a regimen specific to me rehabilitation needs and I can thankfully say that I am finally at a point where I again have hope, something I lost a long time ago. He seems to possess boundless energy, a good awareness, and a very good understanding of the physiology and movement behind body mechanics. I would definitely recommend him for physical therapy and believe he would be a good asset to anyone in need of rehabilitation assistance.
