My husband was there about a month ago, after being very sick and having lost 23 pounds in 3 weeks. The nursing staff were great! They ran tests and everyone was very friendly, and even the doctor was personable. But after over 4 hours they sent us home with a diagnosis of "travelers diarrhea" and told us to keep him hydrated. He continued to lose weight for another 2 weeks before he finally began to feel better. I find it hard to believe that something else could not have been done for him, but I am not a doctor so we have to trust what they told us. Then last night, after being ill for over a week I was sent to the ER to have imaging done to determine why I have a fist sized "lump" in my upper abdomen and constant discomfort in that area. I had been sent to the ER by my doctors office, they thought it might be gall stones. When I arrived at the hospital ER they took me right in - again the nursing staff were terrific!. But apparently we (my husband and I) had arrived when they were changing shifts. I was put in a room, the nurses got me situated, started an IV and then I waited over half an hour before the doctor on duty came to see me. He was there all of 1 minute before a nurse came to get him for something. He said he would be right back - we never saw him again! I was then taken for the ultrasound and brought back to the room. A night shift nurse came to tell us that radiology would send their report and the doctor would come to see me. Over an hour went by and my husband went to ask how much longer it would be. Another 20 minutes went by and the nurse said the report still had not come in but the doctor would come to talk to us. When to doctor came to see us he was not the original doctor who had come in. He never examined me, he asked a few questions, then told me to take some antacids for a week and see a GI specialist if the symptoms persisted. So after spending almost 4 hours in the emergency room here, NO ONE EVER EXAMINED ME and I was told I had heartburn! Im sure my bill for this visit will be well worth the time I spent here!!! THANKS FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF VALUE and boosting my faith in modern medicine!

This is the absolute worst hospital I have ever been to. I sat in the emergency room for five hours with a broken leg, just to have them tell me after X-rays that my leg wasnt broken. They said "no fracture, you need to go to a specialist and get and MRI." I went to an actual hospital and saw real, compassionate doctors at CU Sports medicine. They had verified after an X-ray and MRI that my leg WAS IN FACT BROKEN and there was no way that a competent hospital would have missed it on the X-rays. This is not the first time this has happened either. I went to Vail Summit Orhtopedics at St. Anthonys a few years prior with a torn LCL and PCL, again the incompetent surgeons told me that there was NO VISABLE LIGAMENT DAMAGE. I was at the point I could not walk and was in so much pain. The surgeon recommended PT which made it much worse. I finally went to The Steadman Clinic in Vail to have them tell me my LCL, PCL, and meniscus need to have emergency reconstruction. Same thing happened with an ankle injury last year. After all of these bogus visits to St. Anthonys Hospital in Frisco, THEY HAD THE GALL TO CHARGE ME FULL EXPENSE!! Not only was I on Medicaid at the time of my visits, and should let have accrued any personal charges. The blatant disregard for care and sympathy left me in disgust, and searching for real, qualified care. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF MEDICAL CARE! They are unable and unwilling to give the appropriate care and have no tact dealing with patients. If you like getting swindle out of thousands of dollars and incurring false medical debt, then this is the place for you. OUTRAGED. If it were an option to give 0 stars they would have it.

Well, the first time i visited this ER was to bring my friend in whom was having a heart attack. The nurses and doctors didnt even know what was going on and thought nothing was wrong with him for the first 30 minutes. The second time i visited this ER was because i tore the mcl in my left knee. The doctor recommend a xray of my right knee....just after he had examined my left knee. And then wouldnt prescribe me any pain medications because nothing was broken meanwhile he refused to give me a MRI. There for wouldnt of ever known that i had torn my mcl. I had to go visit another doctor in order to figure these results out and to get pain meds. Then the last time i visited there, was because i rolled my car 4 times into a ditch and wanted to get my head examined in order to make sure i was okay. The doctors refused to give me a CT scan because they said they "couldnt" give me a CT scan if i didnt have brain bleeding. Like seriously how would they know if my brain was bleeding if they werent going to give me a CT scan? After that i drove all the way to lone tree because i knew that sky ridge medical center wasnt run by a bunch of idiots and that they would definitly give me a CT scan. The people are inconsiderate and straight up stupid. They clearly dont have much experience helping people in a hospital and are not well fitted to do so. I wouldnt ever recommend visiting this ER for any reason what so EVER.

I give the staff 4 stars. Dr. Gervais gets one. Didnt seem to care whether I was okay or not. I came in all messed up after a bike crash. Told him my shoulder was separated (per bike patrol), ribs all jacked up, cant take a full breath, and pretty bad low back pain (can barely walk, get up/down). As I tell him this Im lying in the bed, he asks me to sit up so he can feel my back, I tell him I cant sit up. So rather than help me up, he sticks his hands under my back (while Im lying on it), slides them around a little, then gives up. Orders xrays for chest and shoulder. Wanders off without explaining what happens next. A couple different nurses (Josh and another) came in at this point, and were nice and friendly and helpful. Finally I get x-rays, then another while goes by, then Gervais comes back in and says yep the shoulder is separated. Hell prescribe pain meds for it. I say "one of the nurses said I might want PT, what do you think about that?" He says yeah I guess I can prescribe PT too. I said what about my back? He says "well we can x-ray it if you REALLY want but its probably not broken." I didnt want to make my friend wait another hour so I declined. But its pretty messed up still, Ill probably be going to another doctor soon. I dont live here, Im in Summit for the summer to work, so thats not simple. Oh and he forgot the pain prescription, I had to go back for it.
