UPDATE: Wow! I am impressed with the care and attention that Front Range Dermatology exhibits. I was not expecting a follow-up after my review, but I recently received a call from their office explaining that they had made an error in charging me for my second appointment and that they would proceed with a refund. I truly did not expect this and genuinely appreciate that they made an effort to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my care. Thanks Front Range Dermatology! I was referred to by Dr. Wilde by CSU Hartshorn when I had a persistent rash that couldnt be explained by common causes. Dr. Wilde is a great doctor, but my annoyance is that I didnt hear anything new. They took a biopsy and said that the rash was probably due to allergies and prescribed me a steroid cream. When he called for his diagnosis, the rash had cleared, but he recommended that I come into the office anyway which wouldve been fine if I had known I was going to be charged again for him to see him for 1 min. I waited in the waiting room for a much longer duration as appointments seemed to be delayed. I went to the follow-up appointment expecting to hear something comforting but only heard the same thing, that my rash could be due to allergies. Now Ive been charged twice plus a lab biopsy. I understand that seeing specialists are expensive, but I couldve gotten the same care at CSU Hartshorn. In the past I had never been charged obscene amounts for a follow-up appointment where the doctor did nothing. Usually they had been waived or the follow-up was not necessary. I feel a bit scammed for this reason. Pretty disappointed with my experience although Im sure the doctors are great for different cases.

I live in Loveland (Front Range Dermatology has days in Loveland, over on Ginnala Dr by 29th). I saw Dr. Aaron Hoover and THIS is the bar for medical care. Simple, informed, to the point. Never once felt patronized or like talked down to. Answered all my questions with insight, knowledge, and simplicity. Very impressed (though, if you see him, pick on him for having all kinds of posters on the walls, but no copy of the hippocratic oath in sight :) ). I HIGHLY recommend this MD. My goal was to find a dermatologist office nearby that kinda/sorted gave a damn about what I needed BEFORE asking for my insurance info (tall order, i know). These guys blew me away. Would drive from Loveland to Greeley if they ever closed shop here.

I honestly wish you guys did more to help a patient out other than constant creams for my psoriasis Ive constantly requested a biologic for my psoriasis and I am turned down every time its not like I have only one patch I have several and its causing me joint pain its a shame that I will have to wait a month or more to see a rheumatologist after my referral goes through to get the drug Im 100% sure I need instead of steroids constantly to fix the problem and there not helping are messy time consuming and just as detrimental to my health as a mexotrexate or biologic and its a shame that you dont care as much as you should..

I was referred to Dr. Hoover in January, after my PA did 2 biopsies on L pinky. I thought it was Contact Dermatitis. To my shock, it turned out to be Squameous Cell Carcinoma. Dr. Hoover froze the area, wrote a prescription for a topical ointment. He gave me explicit instructions on how to treat the area. Today is 3 months & my skin cancer is gone!! The Staff are very friendly, kind & courteous! IF I need Dr. Hoover again, I definitely know where to go to be treated. Definitely would recommend to others!!

Wasnt impressed at all. For a problem that has had many symptoms and lasted over 6 months, the nurse (I think she was a nurse) spent about 5-10 minutes asking me questions, the doctor barely discussed the matter. He just matter of fact stated "it is this and that and there is no real fix". Then stated I need to see another type of specialist for the resulting pain created by the rash. Worse doctor appointment and worse discussion with a doctor I have EVER had (and Im 58).

had a 10 am apt, taken back to room at 0950am and was seen by physician at 10am and out of office by 10:15am. Granted I had a fairly simple problem but important to me. I was impressed with how quickly I could get into Dr Hoover. Staff was friendly. I have been to Dr Hoover for three facial lesion removals in the recent past and had very good results post operatively. He called me with the results. Very good doctor and staff. Have seen Dr. Hoover and Dr. Wilde. Had to change dermatologists because of insurance. I had been with my other Dr. for over 20 years and was not happy about having to go elsewhere. I have been very impressed with both Dr.s and their staff. I am thankful to have "landed" in the care of these professionals.

Really great service. Dr. Hoover is an excellent dermatologist for many different reasons. He made me feel comfortable and cared about. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a dermatologist. I left very pleased and felt that the service and treatment was at the highest level possible.

Dr. Aaron Hoover has cared for myself, my husband and my 94 year old father. He takes the time to answer all your questions. He is very thorough. His staff is very efficient and helpful. The wait is never long. We highly recommend him and his staff.

The Mas never answer the phone or call you back. Ive waited months without a returned phone call. Doesnt matter how many times I call, I can never get ahold of the Ma. In order to get anything through I have to go through scheduling. Very annoying
