After 1st consulting with a doctor regarding hemorrhoid surgery, I elected to have Dr. Woody do his in office procedure. I believe I had 4-5 visitations. The procedure was simple and painless and relieved my hemorrhoids; however, I wish I had never had it done. The procedure loosens the muscle around the anus which is like an O-ring (as explained by Dr. Woody). I now have leakage from any soft bowel movement about 30-90 minutes later. This causes redness and soreness of the anal area and can soil my briefs. For the last 5 years I have carried baby wipes in my briefcase, gym bag, car and have them in every bathrooms in my house. First of all let me say that having work done on your butt is never fun, but going to Mountain Streams Medical Center makes it easier to cope with it. The staff at Mountain Streams Medical Center are some of the nicest people that you would ever meet. Dr Woodys personality and sense of humor make your experience a good one for this type of medical procedures. I have never met a Dr that has such a great bed side manner as Dr Woody and would highly recommend Mountain Streams Medical Center as the place to go to get your hemorrhoids taken care of.
