IUI ended in EMERGENCY HYSTERECTOMY I wish I knew then what I know now. This place is terrible. I saw them for 2 years during which time I had 3 different nurses assigned to me. It was a part time job just trying to get a call back from a nurse. You have to call, and call again, and develop a strategy to get a call back. My first few appointments I was told that there was no reason I wouldnt get pregnant. Egg health, great, plenty of follicles, no genetic abnormalities. I did have a fibroid so I had a hysteroscopy. Dr. said I would get pregnant without a problem and suggested Clomid. We did a non medicated IUI first, no success. Scheduled next IUI. The nurses sent my labs to the wrong place so even though we had PAID to start the IUI we were not able to complete it due to the nurses errors. Scheduled next IUI and was told all was fine on ultrasounds. Prescribed Clomid and Ovidril for IUI BUT the nurse failed to call in the prescription. It was a Saturday and the timing required me to start meds on Sunday. Never got the scrip called in and didnt want to have to wait another month (and pay for another IUI) AGAIN so called in favor from a dr. friend and got the meds that way. Next office visit was prescribed Estradiol from a nurse I had never met, who I will describe as hungover and absent. Within 10 days, I was having a terrible reaction to the Estradiol. Called and finally got a call back and was told not to worry. Within 2 weeks, I was having major cramps, hives, and abdominal pain. Within another 4 weeks, my stomach looked as though I was 5 months pregnant. I was not pregnant. At this point I was already seeking a new doctor and thank god I did. At 8 weeks post medicated IUI my uterus had enlarged to 10x its normal size. My new doctor had diagnosed me with Adenomyosis. I went back to CCRM and met with my doctor (Dr. Surrey) who I had not seen in almost a year since you only see a nurse (and not YOUR nurse, just whoever is available). Dr Surrey said with a smile "oh you showed signs of this condition at your visit 6 months ago". The only cure for my enlarged uterus at this stage was hysterectomy. He happily informed me that he didnt do that procedure so he didnt have ulterior motives in telling me this (as if my body is a business, and he was just an honest salesman). I spent the next 2 weeks in so much pain, I couldnt sleep, dress in my normal clothes, work, etc. and spent much of my day on all fours breathing through the pain. I ended up having an emergency hysterectomy 8 weeks after my IUI at CCRM. If I had gone to a better doctor I might have had actual care from a physician instead of the treatment I got at CCRM. These people do not care about their patients. They ignored my condition, never told me they found ANYTHING abnormal on my ultrasounds. I wasted thousands of dollars here and ended up losing my ability to ever have a child. I urge anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. It is not worth the money and frustration. They should be shut down.

If I could give them minus 1 million stars I would...STAY AWAY from these guys... Their stats are bogus - my treatment went extremely well - as it should have...I am under 35 and they treated me like I was 55....aka I did not get a choice in frozen versus fresh transfer or singleton versus twins etc. They guided me down the path of what would look best for them....not what I wanted... Doctors/Nurses = Frighteningly incompetent, they never knew why we were there...for the money we paid we should not have had to explain who we were and what treatments we had been through...if we hadnt started our treatment protocol and ordered medication - we absolutely would have switched clinics. Also if you value your privacy under HIPAA - this is not the place for you. Office Staff - Horrid, mean, lazy - name your worst customer service experience and these guys will top it... Payment Office - Unethical - they tried to bundle services into the "package" price we did not want or need...we had to fight with them to get the breakdown and have them remove the unnecessary services... items they told us they would refund if we didnt need them never came to fruition - they kept our funds...if you do go with these guys - stick it to the payment office and make sure you know what they are billing you for because once they have your money - its gone. I should also note - we completed our first phase of treatment with them but switched clinics even though it cost us more money.... Save yourself time/money/stress - DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE JOKERS...find someone else.

We went to Dr. Schoolcrafts office and his staff was BEYOND RUDE. He "cherry picks" his cases, would not take on our case, and did not give us a reason why he could not help us. They talked us into having a bunch of unnecessary tests that cost us a fortune and did not even follow through or guarantee anything. I found out that his high rating in Parenting magazine is not accurate because he refuses cases like ours and he pays for advertising. Schoolcraft’s office also would not give us a straight answer on the price but by the time we added everything up it was going to cost us at least $25,000. I started RESEARCHING SART Data for our problem and found a perfect doctor for us who costs under $10,000 and has a guaranteed price as well. I can travel to the South Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Miami, enjoy an amazing vacation, and still have enough money left over for a bathroom remodel for what Schoolcraft was going to charge us. Stick with Schoolcraft and get HORRIBLE STAFF, SERVICE, PRICING, and NO GUARANTEED RESULTS or do some SART (Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies) data research and find a doctor with a really nice staff like we did and enjoy a vacation while your at it!

I am currently undergoing IVF. I had an egg retrieval and will have my embryo transfer in a few months. I could not possibly be more grateful to the staff, nurses, doctors, and everyone who works at CCRM. They have been encouraging, hopeful, helpful, and most of all, caring. They knew we were paying out of pocket for everything and they did their best to not make things excessively expensive, more than it already was. They were comforting with bad news and excited with good news and in very genuine ways. My nurse keeps in constant contact with me. My doctor is always on top of my charts. I am just beyond happy with my experience here. They even go as far as making sure you have every resource possible to feel good through all of these tough situation. I was given meditation CDs and their website even has videos you can watch to do your medication! I look forward to continuing working with everyone at CCRM because I know they want my husband and I to have a happy, healthy family.

A few of the doctors are really great and their labs are supposed the best in the country. But their day-to-day staff is VERY hit or miss. Ive had some nurses be great and other be completely insensitive and rude. The have also missed some very important things that directly affected my mental and physical health. This place is a great reminder of how broken our health care system is. Our fertility journey is one of the hardest things weve ever had to go through and it often feels like were being exploited for monetary gain. We feel like a dollar sign to them, a chart at best, but we dont feel like were people. I wish there were better options for us but from what Ive heard this place is the lesser of the evils. Take your health into your own hands and dont trust everything they say. They need to make a profit and they have plenty of patients in line that help them do just that.
