This was the third urgent care and hospital I visited last night. I has some severe knee pain from starting a new exercise program. The first two clinics I visited and both sent me away and suggested that I take ad Advil or Tylenol and elevate my knee approximately 60° above my head. Kind of hard to do that when youre trying to sleep isnt it. But when I got to SCL they automatically took me back into one of the exam rooms laid me down and gave me a couple of warm blankets while I was waiting. In the meantime they gave me a couple of pain pills and some crackers to take while I was waiting for the woman to do an ultrasound on my knee and my leg. The doctor and nurses at this location work extremely professional and helpful. I would highly recommend that you use this emergency room if you need any help. I wasnt even able to pay the full co-pay I gave them about 75% of the fee. They sent me home with some pain medication and prescription strength ibuprofen. Now this is the way you treat people when theyre in pain. I would not hesitate to ever use them again and highly recommend their services. Thank you to the doctor and nurses at the SCL emergency room. And also they gave me some referrals for follow up visits to doctors in their network.

Stay away. Went several months ago in severe abdominal pain and was dismissed without any testing. Went then to St Joes and was advised of umbilical hernia, adhesions from prior abdominal surgery and they performed surgery to fix both. Complained and got nowhere. Vowed to never return. Gave them another chance earlier this week. I have a diagnosed leg blood clot with worsening symptoms and suspect a blood clot formed in other leg. Doctor looks at me and says you dont need anything from us. No blood test, no ultra sound, nothing. Follow up with PCP. Knowing something is wrong I went down the street to Centura Church Ranch ER where they immediately ultra sounded my legs and found enlargement of the diagnosed blood clot and indeed other leg now has a blood clot as well. Tried calling SCL to advise them of their error and talk to a patient advocate and they wont give me a patient representatives contact info and were as rude as you can possibly imagine. Something is very wrong at this place and it is in no way a professional or compassionate medical facility. THEY DO NOTHING.

I went for EXCRUCIATING pain in low back left side that radiates to my pelvic. I lost ability to walk a few times. I was worried I have leision on my spine. Month before exact same thing on right side. I have MS. no insurance. Havent been able to get any treatment. Sent me home with 12 percocet. Acted like I was pill seeker. Give me a break. Here I am at home in excruciating pain with no solution. Very sad that in America if you are illegal immigrant you get medicaid, housing, food stamps,etc. If you are me who was hard working paid my taxes but got diagnosed with SPMS at 54 gets absolutely no help. On top of being sick, I get treated so poorly by every Dr Ive been to so far. My husband makes to much for Medicaid but not enough for insurance. We would have to skip eating to get insurance. Sorry for the rant just feeling defeated and hopeless. No compassion at this hospital.

Had to use their emergency department at 2am and I was in utter distress. Yet, the team assigned to me was phenomenal and took fantastic care of me. Also, I have worked as nurse in another States ED and it was awesome to see this hospital well supplied and with good equipment. Again my team was incredible. I know what my choice of ED is. Too bad my insurance is not in network for me to use them for all of my needs.

The nurses, techs, and Dr. Hollis were great. The attention I received was very professional and attentive. I wish the VA was as good. The next time I am in need of immediate emergency care I know where to go. One complaint they need a couple vending machines for people who are waiting for patients.

My wife and I (and some friends) were rear-ended on US-36. This was the ER they took us to. The care was excellent, the facility is immaculate, and the doctors and staff were prompt and accommodating. These truly made a horrible experience much better for us all.

We took my daughter here at about 9:30 on a Friday night with some cuts requiring stitches. Super quick and super professional! Would definitely come here again. Home by 10:30 with a smiling kid who just got her first 5 stitches.

Both my kiddo and I have had to go this ER and I can only say good things. They were fast, efficient, kind. They had my kiddo in and out faster than any ER visit our family has had. The facility is new and lovely and easy to find.
