SORCER RESS
I had to seek emergency treatment today and I chose Sun City Emergency Room on Joe Battle. Im so glad that I did. Gabby was very nice, polite, and professional when I arrived. She welcomed me, took my information and registered me quickly. I didnt even have a chance to sit down and begin filling out my paperwork before I was taken to a room. Jose took my blood pressure and temperature, and he asked me about the reason I came to the ER. He told me the doctor would be in to see me in a couple of minutes. In less than 5 minutes, Dr. Lopez came into my room. He asked me alot of questions and thoroughly examined me and ordered some tests. To my amazement and pleasant surprise within 36 minutes of getting to Sun City, I had been: registerd, examined by the ER doctor, had xrays taken, AND received pain medication. (I had been to a different ER about 5 months ago and there is NO COMPARISON. Sun City is SUPERIOR to those other ERs.) The staff was extremely compassionate, competent and showed genuine concern for me. By the time I was discharged, I had made a decision, I will only come to Sun City ER for Emergency treatment. I cant say enough about the wonderful and caring staff. Gabby was totally awesome in registration, Jose was the caring and competent xray tech, Paulina was the angel of mercy who checked on me and gave me my pain medication quickly. Dr. Lopez was the amazing ER doctor that took exceptional care of me. He even referred me to a specialist for my condition and helped to set up the appointment. When I left, I was even given a folder to put all my visit information into and a CD with my xrays for the specialist. Talk about service! I even got to meet the nursing director. She too was very kind and asked about my visit and treatment. I was pleasantly surprised because I didnt expect this level of care, compassion, and competency from an emergency room. There were other patients in the ER and I believe each and every one received the same level of care. The ER itself is a beautiful facility and they had a refrigerator stocked with refreshments, a coffee maker, and snacks for the patients in the waiting room. Why would anyone ever go anywhere else?

I hands down trust the Drs with my life and family here at Sunset City Emergency Room. I had an incident at Sierra Providence Hospital, 5 years ago where Dr Terraza, is the only Drs who caught was was going on. I had sepsis and collapsed lungs and was admitted for 10 days. Hes cognitively assertive, no matter the situation, rather than following text book protocols. The Drs display self confidence, and lack of arrogance. Their communication sets him and his staff apart. They listen attentively, make quick and accuarte decisions and solve complex problems. I have now followed him here to Sun City and feel comfortable bringing my family and children as well. Seeing the Drs such as Dr Lopez and Dr Terrazas lets me know, I am in good hands. It makes me feel confident knowing they will be throrough and will take precautions. They are professional and empathetic, have cutting edge equipment with a clean facility. The nurses and staff are outstanding ,and compassionate. This group is very unique and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was having a Lupus flare up and I seen the sign as I was driving. Now open. Emergency Room. It threw me off because there was no hospital. I from the second I walked in the staff was cery polite. I was a little dumb founded because for it being an.emergency room there were no people in.the waiting area. Anyway, I was taken back to a room immediatley, triages by the nurse, then the Doctor came in within minutes after the nurses drew blood and did and an ekg. I have to say the whole staff is polite, courteous, and very concerned. One of the nursez there also have Lupus, of course I wish this illness on no one person, but it was kind of a relief that someone knew how I was actually feeling. Bottom line, if you or your kids have a non life threatening issue I recommend this er. IT IS NOT AN URGENT CARE . IT IS AN EMERGENCY ROOM. I also had a cat scan done while I was there. The quickest I have ever been in and out of an er. Great staff. Oh wait, they have complimentary gatorade, pop, and coffee.

As a registered nurse, I have never gone to a freestanding facility and rarely go to the hospital, preferring to wait it out until it constitutes a true emergency. When my six year old daughter was dehydrated, tachycardic, and crying with epigastric pain, I decided that intervention was needed. I must tell you that I had a wonderful experience at Sun City E.R. on Redd Rd. We were called in before we even completed the paperwork. Dr. Sergio Ibarra was knowledgeable, patient, and gentle with my daughter, performing a thorough assessment and explaining all steps of treatment and diagnosis. The nurse, Eddy, was friendly and helpful. After fluid resuscitation, my daughter was once again the smiling, happy child that she always is. I work in an area E.R. and hold other professionals to high standards. Sun City met and exceeded those standards. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you, Sun City.

Do yourself a favor and dont ever go to this place.. I was going to go to Upper Valley Urgent Care, but they had a line out the door on a Sunday afternoon, so I went here instead. It wasnt an emergency and the procedure took about 5 minutes. It took longer to fill out the forms than the actual procedure to take out about 5 cc of fluid from my elbow did. I was billed $2700 for the visit and $1200 for the doctor. This is a thing called highway robbery. They hit my insurance for $1800 of it and expect me to cough up the remaining $1500....FOR A 5 MINUTE PROCEDURE! I will NEVER go back there, and I will urge everyone I know not to go there either. Stay away from the stand alone emergency rooms, unless its a real emergency and you cant get to a hospital. It was my fault for assuming that these guys bill like the urgent care places do, BUT THEY DONT.

I went in yesterday with severe back pain Ive had back problems most of my life and have been bed-bound since Thursday and yesterday was Saturday and I told my wife I cant take it anymore so we decided to give Sun City a try. Wow what a surprise after picking me up in a wheelchair at the car wheeled me right into the room where we filled out a couple pieces of registration paperwork and shortly after the doctor was in there. The whole staff was very friendly and professional the facility was excellent the treatment I got was exactly what I needed the doctors are all board-certified and local. Today being Sunday I feel so much better and Im so grateful that I felt compelled to write this testimonial today and thank all the wonderful people that Sun City emergency. If you are questioning whether or not to give them a try do it you wont regret it.

There was barely any waiting time in the office. They even have complimentary beverages for their patients in their comfortable waiting room .I was greeted by friendly and caring staff . After my routine registration paperwork was completed I was called into the examining rooms within 4-5 minutes. The tech and nurse were caring and efficient. I saw the physician Dr Terrazas a few minutes after the initial information gathering. Dr Terrazas is kind and very knowledgeable. He explained my disease process completely and addressed my pain issues as well. I would definitely use this Emergency room again if needed and recommend this to others. I dont often give a 5 to services but I would give a 10 if able. Thanks to Dr Terraza and his staff I am home, pain free with the proper meds. A+++++++
