I visited this doctor twice, and on the day of my first appointment they called me a few hours prior, and addressed me by my name (but they had misspelled it and I corrected them), but had confused me with another patient who was 3 months pregnant (I assume a paper was slipped into the wrong chart?). Once I arrived, there was some confusion with my insurance confirmation (I had been called by the office and was told my insurance had been confirmed days before my scheduled appointment, so this confused me). My name on file was still misspelled, so I corrected them once more. Once I was confirmed, I waited well over an hour to be seen. Once I was seen, I was pleased with the doctor. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions. She ordered some tests and I left. A second appointment was made for an ultrasound, and I was told Id get to ask the doctor a question due to another unrelated health concern I needed to have addressed that day (a possible infection). When I arrived, I was told I would not get to see the doctor, and the technician did not know why I was there to have an ultrasound. She asked me, and when I replied that I wasnt exactly sure of all the reasons why I was there, she said she could not read the doctors writing on my file, and would have to check as to why I needed an ultrasound. While she was checking, I noticed that my name was still misspelled on the ultrasound screen. I decided to come back another time. I have not been back yet. Just so you all know, they do not accept cards- only checks or cash. I was not told this before I arrived for my first appointment, and had to walk to the hospital nearby to get money out of an ATM. Overall, I was pleased with the doctor. However, it seems like the office staff are not communicating well with each other, or with the doctor. The waiting room is always full- it seems as though they take on more patients than they can handle, and the staff seem to be overworked, and therefore, mistakes are made.

I tried to get apt with DR. Ranan but the people who work there are very nasty and rude ! I asked for apt as I just had a baby and need to be seen for physical exam they were asking me questions not necessary and she already checked my insurance and it was active ! But she was keep asking where I do live and I told her Im feeding the baby you can ask all these questions when I get there she hung up on me and they called again after a couple hours and the same questions!!!! Where do I live ! This made me very irritated as I have new born baby and I dont have time to answer all the un necessary questions ! It can wait until I get there ! I had to cancel my apt and start looking for another Doctor! And when I said you asking too many questions she said if yuh dont like to answer you dont have to come here ! Thank you DR.Ranon for the great stuff you have in the office !!!!! Very friendly and respectful !!! I will never go there and I will tell all my friends and family about this bad experience I have !

Recently I had to switch medical insurance carriers and the practice I have been with for nearly 10 years did not accept my new insurance. I did some reaearch and found Dr. Ronan. I have to agree, there was a wait, approx 45 minutes. However, I was very pleased with the patient care I recieved. Dr. Ronan and her staff were very accomadating and pleasant. I believe the wait time is due to the fact that Dr. Ronan spends time with each patient and provides a through exam. I really appreciated the Q&A I was able to have w/ her; I had never had that at my former practice. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured to "hurry" out of the office. I found it very easy to feel comfortable in her care and have decided to remain a patient at her practice; even if there is a wait. . . .

I LOVE Dr. Ronan, she takes time to answer all your crazy neurotic questions and is a great doctor; her nurses are very sweet and helpful as is the ultrasound tech and Alma the front desk woman. The previous poster is right about the glass not being soundproof though you can hear everything they all say. My major issue and the reason Im looking for a new Dr. after 15+ years and her delivering my 2 children is the billing person; he was rude, and made harassing phone calls and when a check from my HSA bounced b/c of an insurance mix-up he talked to me some kind of deadbeat! Then he got the office manager involved as well with the harassing phone calls... I hate to leave Dr. Ronan b/c shes awesome but I dont trust having Barry work on my file any longer.

My visit today exemplified whats wrong with medicine. The staff, as directed by Dr. Ronan, were not to physically asist me to the exam table. I am in a wheelchair and unless I came with my own staff, there was to be no office visit. My first office visit in 2009 was different the staff did lift me and there were no objections. According to ADA guidelines it is not my responsibility but rather a provider or facility to make it accessible for me. Dr. Ronans vintage exam tables clearly violate accessibility standards in 2011. I was disappointed and will not make a third appointment. Discrimination of any kind is wrong and needs to be stop.

Dr. Ronan is great, but her staff is terrible. I mean the office staff, not the woman who comes into the exam room. Also, the waiting room is always 100% full, and some of the women are heavily pregnant. Yet the seats are no better than park benches. They must be so uncomfortable for these women to sit on. The staff needs to understand that the little glass window is not soundproof. We patients can hear you gossiping and mocking other patients, and its not very professional or nice. I would totally change doctors if I did not like Dr. Ronan so much.

I came to dr Ronan in January of 17 @6 months pregnant she is by far the best OB Ive met yet!!She will be doing my tubal ligation in the morning and Im 100% confident she will do a fine job,Dr Ronan actually cares about her patients unlike most other drs who cant determine one patient from another and rushes through your chart, and has to ask you the same questions that are written in front of them I highly recommend dr Ronan a good dr is worth the wait in my opinion, and the staff have always been very friendly in my experience!!

My sister went here and they over charged us on our copay and did not make us aware to some fees that we would incur. When we called to inquire about this we were told that it was our bad and we should have known about the unknown fees. We wont be back and a stop payment order has been placed on the check. 10/10 recommend you to go somewhere else.
