This place is a scam if Ive ever heard of one. First of all, they hire you without even interviewing you! I went to apply and got "hired" on the spot. No formal interview, no finger print finger work, no physical and TB shot work, etc. I was told I would be called back within a few days. A week went by and I started to worry about important information I had given them. Even though I have LifeLock, someone having my private info and using it incorrectly still creeps me out. I called early that morning and was told by Darlene that my application was on her desk and that should would call me within a half a hour. FIVE hours went by and I called back. She then told me that my paper work wasnt complete because I declined their insurance and didnt list who Im currently insured by. Darlene wanted to know who I was insured by and that did it for me! Once I started mentioning why I was worried with my information and reading other sketchy reviews on Google she got an attitude about how she has 200 other aides as if I dont have a reason to be worried. I politely told her, she shouldnt mind getting rid of my paperwork if she has 200 other aides then! AVOID this sketchy ass place and seek employment at a well known company. Im also reporting them to CT Labor and board law. Updated response to owner: they DO hire on spot! I know from experience. The only reason my application process was delayed was because I didnt want to give them information they kept demanding that wasnt deemed necessary to be hired. They do not follow laws and regulations. Stay away from this company! If you do however stumble upon this shady place, do not give them any important information until youve been given a PROPER interview (which you wont be given one)!

Terrible, I was basiclly hired as soon as I walked in. Now I speak fluent Spanish, with that in mind, a Spanish lady and a couple with a child walk in, the English speaking lady says in Spanish to the other one, shes my friend she will get you a job. thats as shes filling the application for the other one. So she hands the application to the only lady working lady there, Lisa Coveille Care Coordinator. Lisa asks for ID and SSI, the lady asks the other one, she says I dont have any or a green card, so YOU think at this point Lisa would say Im sorry I cant hire you,? RIGHT.? NO NO she tells her (whispering Cash, UNDER the table) Ill send her info to my friend in Danbury. a minute or so goes by, and bingo, I just faxed her info to my friend ...Ill find her something.. They leave, I get up and took my id paper work but Lisa still has all my other paper work... Now I know shes crooked because she just did an illegal thing. so what could she do with all my paper work? I am reporting this to the state of CT and labor board... Its places like this and people like this that make the USA BAD

If I can rate the agency by zero, I would. This is by far worst agency I have EVER worked with. Everyone in the office doesnt have a clue what they are doing, I have waited 4 weeks till I get ANY feedback on why I am not getting paid as they stated I will get paid every week. No one returns your phone calls ever, the management is terribly poor. Until, I said I will contact BBB things started rolling, othet than that no one has a clue about anything. .. you call, its like one thing goes through one ear, and goes out the other. Terribly disorganized and unprofessional.

Horrendous experience. The caregivers are not trained or qualified in any way to care for your loved ones despite what the staff say. They hire anyone regardless of experience. Dont believe them when they say they train people, because they dont. They hire and staff people same day. They say anything to cover themselves when things go awry. There are many other agencies out there. I would not recommend this one.

Love working for this company as a PCA. GREAT GREAT CLIENTS AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN Treated well by the staff. It has been over a year since I started. When I was hired it took a week or more until I worked due to the background checks and reference checks. Once I started I worked weekends. Now I work during the week enjoying every minute . I am a woman of maturity. And a retired LPN.

The word "premium" does not fit this organization. It extensively advertises for employees but, when asked for its compensation it refuses to give any details. Other similar organizations fully disclose their compensation packages. Could it be that PHC is on the low of end of what it pays? Unless you are ready to journey to Rocky Hill for an interview, you will never know.
