I have to share my experience with you. My Aunt Clara is a wonderful lady, and when I was very young she took me in after mom passed away from cancer. She never married, or had children, yet she was so gracious to me throughout my childhood and raised me as if I was her own. Sadly, as she got into her late 70s, she started to show signs of slowing down, and was less capable of caring for herself. I was still very much in her life, but my work schedule only allowed me free time on the weekends to help her out. She made it clear that she didnt want to be placed in a nursing home and really just wanted to live out her remaining years in her own home. I did some online research for home care options and discovered the Live Free Home Health Care site. We gave them a call and set up an interview at my aunts home. I was initially expecting my aunt to be reluctant to have a stranger come over, but the caregiver that we met was so likeable that Aunt Clara warmed up to her immediately. Its been over 3 years now that we have weekly scheduled visits from the caregiver and Im happy to say that my aunt is doing great. Seeing her continue to live happily in her home has made me feel so blessed that I played a role in helping her continue to live independently. Thanks for providing such a great service for my aunt.
