My name is Linda Renna- I want to tell potential clients for "RIGHT AT HOME" health care agency in Patchogue, NY. my experience. I had called there 3/16/16 to inquiry about getting their agency to take over my mothers healthcare- I was assured they would be able to handle her needs and was willing to take over her care from a different agency. To do this I had to get in touch with Guildnet to discontinue services with the current agency my mother had. Well, thank God it was not canceled!!! I had called numerous times and spoke with Joan from Right at Home, she kept telling me everything was progressing and not to worry, and their agency will go into effect 4/1/16! Well, here it is 4/1/16 and they did not come through! Up until yesterday 3/31/16 at 4:45PM they we still saying they would get someone. Shortly after that they said they could not get an aide and could not service us!!! What does this agency not understand- these clients are elderly and need assistant- they are playing with their lives! Just be truthful and tell us from the beginning they are having trouble getting someone! I can understand that but do not promise that you can! Very disheartening!!! I am very upset a about this! The owner of the agency did call me today Lily- but I did not want to hear any excuses- to little to late! I did not want to hear any excuses! P.S. We are staying with our old agency!!! My advice- BEWARE!

Right at Home is very concerned about clients needs and status. Every client is important however based on the time sensitive issues surrounding a request, situations occurr that might contribute to necessary changes. Unfortunately most times customers doesnt want to hear that an aide cancelled or they are running late . A certain amount of flexibility and understanding is required , especially in this industry at this time. The aim is to please everyone, and sometimes a company is just not able to do that . But one thing for sure, we will do our best with communications and sometimes substitutions. The aim is to be perfect... However we will always be here and to go the extra mile to ensure that you TRUST YOUR FAMILY NEMBERS TO SOMEONE WHO CARES... Right at Home, Patchogue, NY
