UPDATED: 05/12/16: Ive now gone back a second time; to have my teeth cleaned and have a filling replaced that was on the verge of failing. This time I got to work with Dr. Patel and the hygienist Kate (sp). Kate did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. First my teeth are super sensitive to those waterpic like cleaning tools they use now a days. She completed the cleaning and it was pain free! That was a first. Second my teeth are incredibly clean. Unfortunately I smoke and drink coffee so I get stains on my teeth and they look awful. They are now spotless. As for my filling Dr. Patel was (like the rest of her staff) an amazing person to do business with. She was very attentive to my comfort level. When I had the emergency broken filling repaired last time it was the first time I had been to their office. They didnt have a patient history with me. They numbed me, started drilling, I wasnt numb enough, they stopped, and gave me another shot. She knew that I had two shots last time so she gave them both to me up front. NO PAIN!!!!! I cant tell you how important to me that is. Not only that but typically when I get my teeth worked on I have pain and sensitivity for weeks after the procedure; not with the work they do here. The first feeling repair I had had zero discomfort from the moment the numbing medication wore off. Again, I highly recommend this practice. They are the gold standard for quality dental care. 04/11/16: Every person on the staff that I encountered from the moment I arrived until the moment I left was an absolute joy to be around. This company knows the meaning of service. They were very in tune with the sensitivity of my teeth and worked diligently to ensure that it was a pain free/low stress treatment. I was thrilled with the high quality work and professionalism. Their prices were actually much less than I expected which was a bonus. Typically you pay through the nose for that type of quality care. I was also very happy with how efficient the office is. I was seen within five minutes upon my arrival, my treatment was quick, and it took me less than five minutes to process out. I would highly recommend Dr. Parker and her assistant Jess; Im a big fan.

GO HERE! This dentist is the most trustworthy dentist I have ever been to in my entire life. I have a hard time trusting dentists but not at Stamford Dental Spa. Dr. Mamta Patel has fully proven herself to me as true blue, and knowledgeable. I had a bad experience with the Dr Dental in Stamford (AVOID them), and Dr Patel was recommended to me by a co-worker. I now understand why my co-worker was so excited to suggest I go to Stamford Dental Spa. The explanations and insight I received were just what I lacked at the other place. She didnt rush into giving my teeth a look but first spent time asking questions and making sure she understood how my teeth were feeling from my perspective. She didnt scare me by listing off a bunch of dentist jargon to the assistant while she inspected my teeth, as well. The office is very clean and comfortable, and has extremely friendly and kind staff. Dr Patel is very gentle while checking out the ol chompers, but its honestly and trustworthiness like hers that is so hard to find in dentists; which is why Im rambling on about those good traits she passionately holds. While a lot of dentists out there wants to drill every divot and microscopic dot so they can afford to send their kids to graduate school and get that third Lexus, Dr Patels intention is the health and longevity of your teeth. Very few dentists make me happy, and this one of them. I was attracted to the previous dentist because of their Saturday hours, it was not worth it at all. Leaving work a little early is something I will now readily do for the quality of the dental experience I receive. I have found my teeth a doctor! This one!

I came across Stamford Dental Spa when I started working in town and went in for my first checkup in 2014. The office is great- its modern, its clean, and its comfortable. Dr. Patel and her staff are very friendly and professional. I needed to have two veneers replaced and had been looking for years for the right dentist to do the job. Dr. Patel came up with a plan I was comfortable with and we started the process last year. My case was not easy but Dr. Patel and Jess (the hygienist) completely transformed my smile over the past year and I am so thrilled with the results. They straightened my teeth with ClearCorrect and replaced my veneers. Dr. Patel is very thorough. She is easy to talk to and is very responsive with any questions. It is clear she cares about her patients and she works very hard to get them the results they are looking for. Jess has done an outstanding job. Ive been so impressed with her work. She is also very responsive with any questions and goes above and beyond for her patients. Heena is always very friendly and welcoming at the front desk. She has been great to work with on all of my billing or scheduling questions. I cant say enough about all of my great experiences at Stamford Dental Spa. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

First, I think Kait did a thorough job. She even identified possible Vitamin D deficiency based on paleness in my gums and lips. Im come back for Kait. By contrast, the visit with the dentist struck me as entirely cursory. She stayed for, perhaps, 3-5 minutes. She offered no commentary on teeth that dentists have told me in the past may be candidates for replacement, given the ratio of filling to remaining tooth. And I contrast this experience with my last dentist, Dr. Rigby (NJ), who preferred to do the cleaning himself and offered the primer on flossing. But Dr. Rigby is not the only dentist who has taken more time. Other dentists do the gum check. Kait did a really good job, again, but shes not a dentist, yet she did the heavy lifting today. I visited today on the recommendation of a colleague who praised Dr. Patel. I will ask to see Dr. Patel then. Otherwise, I may need to shop for a different provider. And please praise Ina (sp?) for her professionalism.

What a nice change from the typical dental experience. Dr. Patel and her entire staff were not only extremely nice and welcoming, they were very thorough, competent and professional. Everything went smoothly - from the ease of scheduling an appointment, working with the ladies at the front desk to look into my insurance, text appointment reminders, seeing me on time, taking the time to explain everything and ensure my understanding. Within a week from the time I first called the office to schedule my first appointment, I was able to meet with Dr. Patel for an introduction and exam, have x-rays done, have 2 cavities filled and get in for a cleaning. Dawn, the hygienist, and Dr. Patel did great work, very thorough and pain free. Dr. Patel really takes the time to listen to her patients and answer any and all questions. I would highly recommend this practice.
